A full episode (#2) from season one that I found on YouTube, for those interested.

The vignettes are anthology AP and never longer than 15 minutes, and range from sci-fi comedy to all out horror. Definitely for adults. Also, the animation style (e.g. traditional, cgi, etc.) is different for each episode.

The first season was mostly soulless, unfunny, unsexy, uninteresting crap.

It was like watching video game cut scenes. BFD. The starship seduction by an alien monster posing as a hot chick was stolen from a Richard Corben comic, if not others.

I advise people to check out the original inspiration for this series, the first HEAVY METAL animated feature or comics. At least they had heart, soul, originality, wit and effective eroticism.

And one of the greatest soundtracks of all time!

R4 You really didn’t like any of the segments?

A lot of the animation was excellent, they just didn't have great stories, characters, heart, observations, etc.

That cat takeover segment thought it was hilarious while I'm coughing up hairballs.

R6 lol. Check out season 2 just for shits and giggles. The first episode is entertaining. I’m going to continue watching later today after I get some work done.

I watched the old lady fight the pet-killing robot and got one laugh out of it. Not crazy about it. .But I may throw this series on while I'm washing the dishes or something.

Ah, ok. It was created a few hours ago.

Because of this thread I checked it out and overall I liked season one, but season two fell flat for me for the most part. From season two I liked the first one with the granny fighting the robot while having to deal with the most annoying customer service ever, tall grass is almost pretty decent, and the Christmas themed one. Season one has its fair share of animated dong (loved Shape Shifters). Season two has a dead giant male naked corpse, but that story is depressing as hell. Most of them are depressing, actually. Downright hate the episode called Pop Squad because of its theme.

Episode 2 and 3 of season 2 are great.

R13 I’m surprised you didn’t enjoy season 2 as much as 1. I’m enjoying the fuck out of it. Episode 2 was hopeful and uplifting, though a lot of them are dark. I’m up to episode 5.

If anyone has been hesitating in catching S3 that dropped recently, it has a video that is top level in storytelling and animation. If you liked "The Witness" from S1, "Jibaro" is mesmerizing with incredible visuals and a storyline that will stay with you for days. There is one other that is pretty good called "Bad Travelling" - dark and creepy.
