I'm a Latino gay and I truly believe that she (not including Weinstein because he's another deal altogether) is a casualty of the far-left trying to bring down prominent white people, especially if they're gay or straight. I am sad for your downfall. My thoughts are with you and your hundreds of millions of dollars. I condole you.

Someone may have been deliberately out to get her, but the problem is there are a LOT of people she stepped on and it would be impossible to know who did it, or why. And that's all on her. You need to build up good will in the industry.

Also, I can't think of a single straight person as reportedly mean as her who has gotten a pass. Maybe Steve Harvey but even at his meanest his attitude comes across as funny, not cruel. People have been writing about Ellen's attitude for so long that three years ago when she almost left the show, she used the whole "the real Ellen is kind of mean" thing as an angle for her stand-up special, that's why the NYT article on it was called "Ellen Degeneres is Not as Nice as You Think."

People have their moments, or rather their time--even a very long time--and suddenly they don't. Oprah saw this and wisely retreated to her compound on Mt. Olympus.....Ellen kept going way too long, which made her vulnerable.

She’s right. People do hate homosexuals and it’s clear straight ppl have hated her this whole time seeing as how quick they were to jump on her over RUMORS. Horrible people are celebrated in Hollywood but Ellen gets canceled because of rumors that she isn’t literally dory 24/7? She’ll always be an idol to me for being out and proud when no one else in her position would at the time. I hope she knows not everyone has turned on her.

The problem is - there are many, many video clips of her on her own show being unnecessarily mean. And that Game of Games does her no favors - the glee she gets in kicking people out is bizarre.

The rumors about her being unkind and mean have been around for decades. This isn't new.

If this was all bullshit, why was almost her entire show executive team replaced?
