I used to watch Proud Family as a kid. Now that they’re adding gay characters I feel validated and represented. If only this happened when I was a kid.

R9 well that gives me some hope. I always found the show endearing as well and want to see it succeed. Maybe I'm overestimating the reaction from homophobes. It's a lot of change at once that's all, instead of just having a same race and sex couple to start off with. I'll be cheering it on though.

Most black people won't watch it with their kids once they find out there is a gay and trans character. We are conservative and are not a fan of those lgbt woke stuffs.
