Matt Damon sports a bruised face in the new trailer for his new movie, Stillwater.
Here’s a synopsis of the upcoming film: Stillwater follows an American oil-rig roughneck from Oklahoma who travels to Marseille, France to visit his estranged daughter, who is in prison for a murder she claims she did not commit.
Confronted with language barriers, cultural differences, and a complicated legal system, Bill builds a new life for himself in France as he makes it his personal mission to exonerate his daughter.
Abigail Breslin and Camille Cottin also star in the film, which hits theaters on July 30.

If the inspiration is what I think it is I already know how the film will play out. Let me guess, it will depict breslin as the innocent pure of heart suburban wasp princess being victimised by those FILTHY and untrustworthy wine sipping Europeans, through no fault of her own of course.
