She may be in heat. They sometimes behave oddly during that time (always spay and neuter cats; their sexuality is amped way up, and it's actually a burden to them).

She may have been abused or teased. To me, she seems very loving but has her boundaries, and would make a nice pet if you gave her her space.

I have a couple cats who are 'hand shy' and won't let people touch certain parts of them. You just have to respect their personalities.

My old Shih-tzu gal acted a little like this-- I had her tested for glaucoma and sure enough. She only had about 10% vision in that eye so I just had them surgically remove it and she was good as new.

I would first have her diagnosed by a vet to see what the problem was. I just don't like to see animals in pain. A long time ago, my mom refused to put her beloved Doberman to sleep when she had untreatable cancer. She wasted away to nothing, couldn't even stand up. It just sickened me.

Nope, my last cat was put down months ago after 19.5 years of life. I have had all kinds of pets - dogs, cats, birds, fish, little baby turtles the size of silver dollar... a long, long list.

I think she’s claimed the man as hers and she gets jealous of other cats and can smell the other cats on his hand when he tries to pet after he’s petted the other cats.

I second the abscessed tooth. That became a problem with our cat once.

Tooth removal can be quite simple if the vet has experience; the procedure was over in minutes and she was feeling and acting better within hours.

I with R56 and even more so with R57. This seems like someone making money off of stray animals. The video description seems like someone trying to generate and monetize views. It’s supported by the fact that the channel restricts playback on linked sites such as DL, because they don’t get paid anything for those views.

We do see the cats being fed but how much could one person be possibly spending on dry cat food? The number of videos he posts a week and the number of views he’s getting, he’s making enough to support himself. A lot of content creators have to push the envelope regularly get over a million views on a video and get lots of videos demonetized but this guy doesn’t have that problem so he’s taking in the money. I bet $5000 a month easily.
