Mickey Rourke is trashing Marvel films, again
He has been trashing Marvel, Disney (who owns Marvel) and its films/acting ever since IM2 came out. He really hated that movie and called out the Disney Execs for it turning out so bad. He said that the end product was nothing like the original vision.
He’s been pissed about it for over a decade now lol.
I also remember when he trashed an actress who he said has everyone fooled into believing she’s a good actress but is actually terrible and they supposedly had to do take after take because she was so bad. At the time people narrowed it down to GOOP, ScarJo or Megan Fox, who he did a film with around the same time.
Then in some interviews he praised Fox and said she was a delight etc. he also said some nice things about ScarJo eventually. He never acknowledged GOOP.

He's just mad because Whiplash is considered one of, if not THE, worst Marvel villain. To make matters worse, he was overshadowed by the man playing one of the best Marvel villains: Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer.

Rourke's just pissed that marvel cut a lot of the weird improv character stuff he did. The random bird he had in the movie was part of that.

The worse Scarlett Johanson's wig is in a Marvel film, the worse the movie is. Iron Man 2 features a doozy. She looked like a Russian prositute at a wedding.

Favreu and Downey wanted to do demon in a bottle but marvel and paramount were really against the idea, they didnt think a blockbuster that dealt with alcoholism would sell.
