It was the skiiers themselves, not a supernatural event.
What’s this?

What? There have been several articles claiming to have solved this over the last six months, it's like someone wrote one article and now various outlets are re-publishing the "findings" again every 30 days or so.
Here's one of the first threads about it in February, though we had 3 or 4 threads total.

It wasn't "the skiers themselves" as OP says, it's just another article about the slab avalanche causing the disaster. Some of the skiers who survived the avalanche went on to take shelter in other areas but didn't survive.
It's the same theory that we heard back in January, just a new article on it. Very weird that this keeps coming back up. It's a more entertaining article than the previous ones, though.

I don't find the avalanche theory very entertaining. It's so dreary.

Can someone start a thread on the Dyatlov Pass incident where we discuss the theories. I don't think we've ever had one.

It’s new to me.

This theory is logical, if not as exciting as some of the others.
