I can't believed that this was posted.

by Anonymousreply 1May 9, 2021 11:41 PM

Was Fadi involved

by Anonymousreply 2May 9, 2021 11:50 PM

See this is the reason we love guns tah keep us safe and only Trump with protect our guns!

by Anonymousreply 3May 9, 2021 11:52 PM

DL is interested in trashy street violence only when it involves 1) blacks 2) Muslims or 3) fatties.

by Anonymousreply 4May 9, 2021 11:55 PM

R4 which is a shame because no one does trashy like the Brits.

by Anonymousreply 5May 10, 2021 12:11 AM

This happened in Blackburn, miles from Manchester.

Watch out if you scroll the twitter link OP left, some very graphic nasty images there. Horrific. Maybe if a solid social structure and a disciplined institution for jobless lads were in place, no wriggle room, knife crime and drug wars wouldn’t be so rife....

To balance out with a positive; in happier local news, Rovers are having a blinder this year. Only 15th in the table at the moment, but they’re quickly climbing and accruing points.

Was it soccer hooligans?

by Anonymousreply 7May 10, 2021 12:26 AM

Like afternoon tea compared to the bloodshed caused by American guns. Which is never shown on Youtube.

by Anonymousreply 8May 10, 2021 12:30 AM

Well, this is preferable to shooting whoever you have an altercation with and then yourself.

Higher percentage of survivability.

by Anonymousreply 9May 10, 2021 12:39 AM

Damn you Megan!

by Anonymousreply 10May 10, 2021 12:55 AM

It's the infection from the rotten teeth, it's gone septic and made them violent.

by Anonymousreply 11May 10, 2021 5:06 AM

If they were Muslims heads would be chopped off already.

by Anonymousreply 12May 10, 2021 5:14 AM

Reddit provides a steady supply of knife attacks in the UK. Attached, is non-clickbait from BBC.

So many knife attacks for such a small country....and most are considered assault - not attempted murder.

“I wanted to stick him, not kill him, your honor.”

In the meantime, kids in the US are being given kevlar backpacks and are taught to throw rocks if one of their schoolmates decides to bring daddy’s uzi to school after getting a bad math grade.

by Anonymousreply 14May 10, 2021 5:29 AM

Their accents are so annoying.

by Anonymousreply 15May 10, 2021 6:32 AM

Is this an episode of Absolutely Fabulous? I’m unfamiliar.

by Anonymousreply 16May 10, 2021 7:05 AM

R4 Can you identify the shorter of the two combatants?

Only butchers need to have knives like that.

by Anonymousreply 17May 10, 2021 7:41 AM

Trash. So much for the British being well-mannered, eh?😏

by Anonymousreply 18May 10, 2021 7:45 AM

R18 I always thought that was such bizarre and inept PR. Gentility was a thin temporary veneer over British society for a few short centuries—say the Days of the Empire up to WWI. And even then, it was merely handwringing middle-class wallpaper over deep mouldering cracks. British society has always been a bit lary, a bit scabby, a bit scrappy, and quite drunk.

by Anonymousreply 19May 10, 2021 8:06 AM

UK knife attacks are overwhelmingly black on black drug-gang related (like most US shootings), not that you'd know it from the media.

by Anonymousreply 20May 10, 2021 8:25 AM

They got nothin' on the Spaide/Goys showdown 💀

by Anonymousreply 21May 10, 2021 9:09 AM

Small point but Burnley isn't in Manchester / Greater Manchester. It's between Preston and Bradford.

by Anonymousreply 22May 11, 2021 1:18 PM

By order of the Peaky fookin Blinders!

by Anonymousreply 23May 11, 2021 10:54 PM

R23 they’re from Birmingham, you clown.

And they were organised criminals who mainly fought with guns, poisons, and the occasional crowbar. The razors in the their caps were merely an early gimmick.

by Anonymousreply 24May 11, 2021 11:08 PM

r24 It's a joke. No one (except you) cares about the details of where in the UK the Peeky Blinders were active...100+ years ago. Lighten up.

by Anonymousreply 25May 11, 2021 11:13 PM

Fun fact: if you're from the Birmingham area, you're know as a "Brummie".

by Anonymousreply 26May 11, 2021 11:26 PM

We have machete attacks/fights often enough here in NYC, actually. The thing that struck me is how clean these trashy people keep their streets. There’s not a speck of litter anywhere on the ground. And the yards (gardens) are tidy, too.

If those people were having the same fight here, there would be Big Gulp cups in the storm drains and rusted-out trucks on blocks in the driveway.

by Anonymousreply 27May 11, 2021 11:42 PM

Burnley, Bradford, Manchester: it the North, innit?

In the UK, guns are difficult to procure, except in Northern Ireland, so the citizenry take things into their own hand with machetes, screwdrivers, kitchen knives which are not usually quite as lethal as your average AR-15.

Fighting with blades is more honourable than with firearms. This is the only point on which the British & French may agree.

by Anonymousreply 29May 12, 2021 9:09 AM

I like the dude who comes in at the end and kicks the would be assassin.

by Anonymousreply 30May 12, 2021 1:11 PM

R30 that was beautiful, proper-shithouse. An Alfie-Inge-Haaland kick. I would’ve apologised for hurting his foot with my body.

by Anonymousreply 31May 12, 2021 1:13 PM

More machete action, Liverpool this time.

R28, would you say that Reading is in London? (I think Reading is even closer to the Greater London border than Burnley is to the Greater Manchester border.) C'mon, it's just ignorance.

by Anonymousreply 36May 13, 2021 2:07 PM

Reading is certainly not in London.

These people are peasants who have empty lives.

They have no jobs but they get lots of free stuff from The Welfare State.

by Anonymousreply 40June 10, 2021 11:22 AM

[quote]no one does trashy like the Brits

Trump's Deplorable rallies, plus the invasion and smashing up of the Capitol as politicians hid and cowered in fear for their lives, have indeed set a sophisticated example for the UK.

by Anonymousreply 41June 10, 2021 11:36 AM

Southern white trash are of lower class English stock. Despite migration over one hundred years ago, they still behave the same. The only difference is that the American trash are fat.

by Anonymousreply 42June 10, 2021 12:16 PM

R42 Have you ever been to England? There are just as many fat white trash over there too. They are in fact the fattest country in Europe.

by Anonymousreply 43June 10, 2021 8:23 PM

R43 Malta is the fattest European country (or Turkey, if you consider that one to be part of the continent too) but Britain isn't far behind.
