Mom is going to be over in 2 weeks

Mom is one of the few shows I watch.

Just listened to Anna Faris’s podcast. She was answering a listener question about a fucked-up work situation.

Anna shared that she herself once had a job where someone was mistreating her and she had to complain and they tried to placate her (while making it clear they saw her as high maintenance) but never addressed the situation.

She hasn’t had many gigs beyond a movie or single episode. Mom is the only job of any length.

Sounds to me like Lorre or some other EP seemed out of control and she walked and played the legal action card. That would explain why they would let her out of a contract with a year left.

Was big old meany Allison Janney mistreating little Anna?

I can’t imagine that. She has a rep as a total pro. (I actually know someone who guest starred and I will have to ask her about the vibe on set… this person did scenes with Alison and Anna.)

I thought you meant your mom was gonna die.

Love this show. Love Anna and the one who plays her mom. Not much else worth watching these days.

I stopped watching network tv sitcoms in the late 90s. I’m cooler than you.

Seinfeld and curb reruns are going to keep going there are other sitcoms? Yawn
