So many colleges advertise this now. How do they know?
I never told anyone from my college what I was doing afterwards (and nobody asked.)

That seems way too high for any college, I don't think even the Ivies are that high.

Any college that says this is to be immediately avoided.

I'm not sure they all say 99% but I've seen a lot of high figures like that.
(and I just saw USC communications school list the 99%)

BULLSHIT

If Harvard is at about 64% don't see how many other four year colleges could be anywhere near 100%.

Apparently being a Lyft driver or Door Dash delivery person counts as employed.

My friend went to LAMDA and they told him some outlandish number like that. I was like, um do they mean employed as actors or like r6 means above.

DeVry Tech?

It doesn't say WHERE they're employed. If you actually read those studies, there's usually an asterisk saying that they are counting any type of employment. It could be McDonald's!

[quote]99% of Graduates employed within one year or in graduate school
This is a meaningless marketing slogan designed to sell. It literally means nothing.
Similar to Gillette's "The Best a Man Can Get" or L’OREAL's "Because you’re worth it".

Maybe she’s born with it... maybe it’s underemployment!

Does escorting and G4P count?

These reported statistics for colleges/graduate schools are 100% marketing nonsense.

There were a series of lawsuits against mid or lower-tier laws schools that all went nowhere. In part, the plaintiffs claimed that employment and salary figures were false and those numbers were a reason for people enrolling at a particular school and taking on significant debt. Some of the law schools counted ANY employment in their "employed 6 months" or "employed 9 months after graduation" numbers. So, working at Subway counted just as much as working at a major law firm.

In what context did they present 99%? Can you provide a link to them? And I don't mean just one. You said "so many."

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
