I don't think he's "gorgeous", but he is very attractive (his smile is very sexy), and as R2 mentioned: he DOES seem like a genuinely nice guy.

Channing, like many of us, is always one double quarter pounder with cheese aware from obesity. I've always been jealous of those people who are naturally thin with your fast metabolisms. My ass ass to be in the gym 7 days a week. Channing is probably the same way.

He has an attractive body and personality. It makes up for what his face lacks.

He isnt textbook goodlooking and not a good actor, but gotta admit he has some spark onscreen that some better looking men dont have. Whether he is a casting couch product or not, people who watched that Amanda Bynes movie knew he will be a bigger star.

I do believe he works out all the time.... his genetics gave him skin with a layer of fat under it.... no natural definition.

The problem with trying to get that shredded at 40 is that you have to reduce you really have to shed all the body fat for the muscle which usually ages the face. I think you do have to choose your face or your ass at some point. Channing is really having to fight nature. He's naturally beefy/fit fat when he's in his off time.

You don't need to be classically handsome or male-beautiful to be sexy as fuck -- Channing is overwhelmingly charismatic, seems like he'd be fun in bed, has a great body even when beefy and is hardly ugly. We could all do, and have all done, a lot worse.
