I am only interested in The Eternals and Black Widow, maybe Antman too. The trailer gave me a bit of nostalgia fro Pre-covid days when you could go to the movies.

I’m looking forward to MCU’s upcoming X-Men reboot. They have the opportunity to create something that surpasses the popularity and success of the Avengers phase. Here’s hoping they get it right.

Here for The Eternals, Black Panther (RIP Chadwick), Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man (for the sexy Tom Holland).

Is X-Men going to be in Phase 5?

Madden and Kumail look sexy. Salma looks amazing, as always. Angie... cheekbones and lips certainly on point; love her white costume. Say what you want about her personal life, but professionally, she always knows how to deliver the best shots and she always understands the vision behind the projects she's working on and truly gets what the audience wants. I really hope the Eternals will knock it out of the park with SMART witty writing and dialogue, and visually stunning action sequences.

R4 According to a recent leak:

[quote]The leaker claims that Marvel’s big X-Men project is codenamed “The Mutants,” and it includes a movie with that name along with plans to introduce other characters into the MCU via various shows and movies leading up to the actual The Mutants film.

[quote]Apparently, the first mutants could show up in the MCU in 2021. The leak also notes that “there may be a mention about mutants feeling free to reveal themselves to the world and fight crimes after Tony Stark reveals himself as Iron Man.” Additionally, it claims that The Blip (aka, the Snap) could play a major part in turning regular humans against their mutant brothers.

[quote]As for the actual first X-Men film, it may be directly connected to Eternals and focus primarily on Charles Xavier and Moira MacTaggart. It could also feature the Brotherhood of Mutants (Magneto, Mystique, Sabertooth, Toad, Pyro, the Blob, etc) as the main villains, and include an X-Men team inspired by the “First Class” comics (that’s Angel, Jean Gray, Cyclops, Iceman, and Beast).

[quote]Finally, @mainmiddleman claims that the first MCU X-Men movie will focus on “social issues about minorities,” which makes sense since Mutants have always served as a metaphor for minorities and the way society mistreats them.

Based on this leak, it looks like the X-Men will be introduced in Phase 4 but probably won’t take center stage until Phase 5.

I guess it would be too much to ask for Marvel to bring in John Waters to direct something.

Jolie walking up @2:22 as if she's a badass is laughable. She looks more fragile than DJ Qualls.
