I’ve watched the documentary in which Jordan helps 67 year climbing legend Mark Hudon ascend El Capitan. It was a moving film, especially the relationship between Jordan and Mark. Jordan is a mellow man and great climber. I congratulate him on coming out and being true to himself.

Looks and coming out aside ,the fact he climbs great heights using only his body doesnt impress me at all. In fact I thinks hes quite stupid. Its inevitable he will splat out big time one day.

The interview at r50 was emotionally moving. It’s a shame how religion destroys gay kids’ self esteem and their relationships with their birth families. Jordan has formed a family with the climbing community, and he is supported for the first time in life. Good for him.

To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld on skydiving, not sure I'd want to take part in an activity where the main goal is not to die.
