Tipping a mattress delivery

I’m getting a bed delivered. How much do I tip the delivery guys? Do I have to do it separately or give it to whatever guy seems to be in charge? I am not having a bed taken away. I’m in an elevator building. TIA!

3% ?

It also depends on if it is the 120th floor, how far it is carried, how far the house is from the store, etc, etc

Just think...It's the 120th floor and it is king size and won't fit in the elevator !

In that case $250.00 minimum.

A blow job if they’re cute, a hand job if they’re not.

You could also try to figure it by the number of hours spent and what you think a pay rate should be for the job.

You are already paying for the delivery (even if it’s “free”). Do you tip the mailman too?

Oh, you know what must be done for the mattress delivery guys. You thank them by being their mattress back.

Only if they meet the DL-curated standard of hotness, R7. Everyone else gets cash.

Once the mattress is delivered, lay on it and spread your cheeks wide open — and tell him he can only insert ‘his tip’.

Tip them with your old mattress and tell them to get rid of it, since you don't need it any more

20 bucks each

If it's a reasonably easy move and two guys do the work, $10 or $20 each - depending on the time they spent on site working.

They are not paid $5.15 an hour like a diner waitress; they are paid to load and unload mattresses, to drive around delivering them, and to deliver them to a bedroom in your house or apartment. If they get two tips an hour that's $120 tax free a day assuming $10 x 2 per hour x 6 hours.

What should two grumpy guys whose interaction consists of dirty looks and a "show me where you want us to put it" make for 20 minutes from the time they park their truck until they leave for the next job?

Of course if you're not ready for their arrival, with a clear path, or want their to carry a mattress up a tight spiral stairs, or want them to haul away the old one that's drenched in reeking cat piss, you should raise the tip.

I had two movers unloading one full uhaul can, 2nd floor with elevator. 20 bucks each. I also paid them for 3 hours because they came that day because I was going to die if I had to unload it myself. (40min job) they were nice kids not savages
