Renovation show on HGTV. Erin and Ben Napier are a really cute couple. She tiny, he a huge bear and they actually work with same sex couples. BUT you better like grey, or blue or blue grey because you're gonna get some. Don't believe me check out the other photos at link
They're not as obnoxious as the Gaineses... but I swear every time I have a medical appointment the TV in whichever doctor's office I'm in is tuned to HGTV, and Home Town is always the show that's airing.

I don't think they are obnoxious at all except for the blue, even a blue roof.

The show has even had some gay guy come work with Ben. Haven't seen him in awhile though. He always had on bright socks.

Isn't Lance bass originally from Laurel? I believe he owns a house there.

Maybe all the blue is to offset the red state energy.

Love Ben and Erin ! I very much like her style too. Theres only been a few times when I thought "meh" and I think those were more the homeowners input. They seem very comfortable with gay people of all stripes. Wich considering they are religious, and Ben was a preachers kid, and they are from the deep south,is truly astonishing ! There was one episode when Ben made several side jokes about being a "bear" and I thought "OMG,theyve read DL!" .In another he got into a tub and said it wasnt big enough for 2 and Erin quipped no one wanted to get in a tub with him anyway and he smiled and said "plenty of people out there want to get in a tub with me" . Erin has featured some VERY eccentric artists and she seems to genuinely delight in them ,wich makes me think she's the coolest chick in real life. She won my heart forever on an episode when she talked about her grandmother and how much she loved her and mentioned she was suffering from dementia(?) and teared up and Ben wrapped her in a big ole bear hug . I love them so much I almost thought about moving to that hellhole state ! I never miss a show, and I bet Hoanna Gaines is screaming in envy at their enormous popularity.

i want to sell my place in Palms Springs and move to Laurel , one of those cozy little bungalows. But would need a concrete bunker safe room for tornados! (and then i woke up from my nap),
But i love the show and she is so Southernly gracious . The floor guy is great!

Parker Posey is from Laurel.
I have liked Erin’s designs almost every time. If it’s not my style, I still think it’s beautiful and stylish.
I love Ben’s cute little friend Josh, and the deadpan little hipster guy who helps out at the wood shop sometimes.

Don't get too excited about Ben and Erin. They may not be as vocal or obnoxious about it as some of the others, but they're definitely big-time Christians and probably right-wingers. They spoke at a convocation at Liberty University in 2019 (while Jerry Falwell Jr. was still president) about their love of Christ and how their show is part of "God's plans." I know there are liberal Christians, but I can't imagine a liberal Christian agreeing to be the main speaker at a convocation at Liberty University.

Thats the thing about people R13 ,they can be comprised of many parts. Just because they are christian doesnt mean they are the "christians" of the trumpster kind. Ive known many wonderful loving people over the years who were christians.

Yeah, they strike me as pretty gay friendly and Erin is a huge anti-bullying crusader due to her childhood.

Yeah well you would never know from their show and they have an hour a week on TV to preach and they don't.

At least they acknowledge gays on their show unlike a certain Waco faction.

I love the Napiers! Their homeowners, artists and other folks on the show have been very diverse. Gays, interracial couples, other minorities. I think it's a stark contrast to most of the homeowners on Fixer Upper. Representation matters.
The Napiers are friends with Chris and Morgane Stapleton. Huge fans of them! It would be some interesting energy hanging out with the four of them. The Stapletons were on an episode of Home Town recently.
