I could not be less interested.

She’s the home screen when you open HBO Max right now. She looks downright scary compared to what she used to look like. I’ve never watched any of her shows.

Is there a term for this kind of hate watching?

Like calling Judge Judy porn for old people, the first two episodes of this show is porn for Gen X, with Bethenny basically making common sense-esque remarks (probably scripted, but you never know) about the clueless and self-involved behaviors of the cast of Millennials/Gen Z types there to "compete" for a "job" with her. The young lady with the sock business (and way too much filler for someone under 50), who interrupted Bethenny while she was being cut to explain to Bethenny how Bethenny was wrong for cutting her (using the usual reality excuses), was particularly clueless, and looked positively shocked when Bethenny cut her off.

Beyond Bethenny being a skeleton, it's exhausting watching these self-involved, "brand"-obsessed purveyors of no product, all "influence." And yet, I'll keep watching, so long as she keeps cutting these delusionals up.

This is low-rent for HBO Max.

This is like a busted version of The Apprentice.

She comes across like a high-functioning Methhead.

I actually love the show. That Nicole is awful! The other candidates shading her is so funny.

I don’t think Correy was handling the photoshoot that well (or maybe that was just the editing), but Nicole’s antics really took all of the attention.

I think I like Milokssy the most out of these candidates. But I don’t think Bethenney actually wants any of them.

Bethenny is fucking trash. Her talk show was a joke. Watch her interviews with Omaroosa or Kenya Moore to see how bad of an interviewer she is.

Other than the crazy Nicole girl she cut all the drama people. The Lebanese gay guy should have stayed.

Bethenny and John Stamos coach a high school basketball team. So far it's ok.

This Nicole girl could be a Datalounge Icon. She makes Omarosa seem sane. She is the epitome of an Adderall-idled Millennial Frau. One of the nuttiest, if not the craziest, people I’ve ever seen on reality tv.

The first episode was a dud, but the second has a few very funny moments. Like [25] said, Nicole is crazy.

R4 sums it up perfectly for me and that’s why I’ll probably keep watching. Mary is cringe worthy but Rosé is by far the worst of all of them...

B IS a fucking skeleton though, and you know she thinks it’s totally hot and a sign of how much success and money she has. Girl has always had issues.

That Zodiac Killer-esque business development “flowchart” she pulled out in the first episode perfectly encapsulates the energy of the show. It seems to be made up entirely as they go, with Bethenny acting like she’s never seen the contestants before they arrived. She’s looking for a quote unquote VP and yet didn’t screen the resumes before casting?

They put the contestants in unwinnable situations such as giving them 20 minutes to shoot a social media ad when they literally just arrived, and Bethenny wonders why they don’t know the products yet? She wants to know why they were drinking “on the job” despite their being an open bar with a bartender there when they arrived? She berates one girl for putting her “coffee syrup” in an alcoholic drink, but why was it sitting on the bar in the first place?

I have no clue why any of these people would want to work for this woman.

R38 they don’t — which is the weakest part of this type of show — they just want a boost to their “careers” by appearing on the show.

The older gal & Token... I mean Correy are coming off the best of everyone.

Formulaic reality shows get old, but this is a chaotic mess and Bethenny comes across as mentally deranged. Her whole schtick on the show seems to be "You have to be professional. You're embarrassing youself. I get to be a fool and I get to abuse you because I am the boss. Nothing makes sense around here. It's all about my whims. You may satisfy me one moment and then another moment not anticipate what I want you to do, and when that happens, you're OUT. Get with the program. Do I look hot in this?"

It's really terrible. I'm seeing major narcissist and sociopath qualities here that are way too close to Trump's.

Bad job, HBO. Bad bad bad. Chris Albrecht's legacy of Six Feet Under, The Sopranos etc. is being steamrolled by trash TV with the HBO brand.

R35 And in 'humiliating people,' she's making herself look worse than anyone around her. I think she is somewhat entertaining as a personality because she is so over the top and intense, but a little goes a long way and in this project she looks like she runs her company like the Tazmanian devil.

And then of course, they cast unlikable, typical reality TV contestants among her supposed executive candidates. The social media girl is absolutely not cut out to be an executive anywhere, and she is as loud and chaotic as Bethenny is, and she's already made drama and so is sure to stick around. Meanwhile, the drama she made was in reaction to Bethenny being manipulative and emotionally abusive. That's one thing on the Real Housewives. In a workplace, though?

Also, Bethenny talks about "sucking cocks" to her staff and announced to all the candidates that everyone in her life has to see her naked. Harvey Weinstein made women watch him take a shower. I don't see how this is very different except that it's on camera. As an entertainment cast, I guess that's part of the entertainment environment. As her staff in the real world today, that should be a lawsuit in the making.

I'm really baffled about what HBO executives were thinking when they bought this *literal* shit show. The show is shit. I won't be watching the rest of it.

I watched the newest 2 episodes, and Bethenny is a lot softer in them.

These last two episodes reek of "production intervention"; even that Nicole seemed to be reciting lines fed to her by production ("Bethenny is such a wildcard!" "I want to work on your misconceptions of me!"), and both people aufed were immediately offered "jobs" with her organization (i.e. because both seemed nice and competent, but not compelling reality TV material for three more episodes).

And bringing in not one but two new/returning contestants? #desperatin

I watched it, and I'm not proud of it. I think there is a strange sort of enjoyment in watching situations that make you glad you are not among those people. RHONY gives me the same vibe. It's a parade of awful people behaving appallingly. The few people with good manners get crushed. The drama with Nicole had to have been scripted. No one could be that stupid.

You can literally skip episode 5, since it moves nothing of the "competition" forward. It seems like this production started with no idea what it was going to be, and Bethenny is just improvising criteria on the fly. What was the point of the contestants cooking all that inedible shit (spoiler, Bethenny: it's inedible because it's Skinnygirl brand, not because of the ineptitude of your contestants)?

I'm hate watching at this point, and only because I know it ends really soon. She needs to crawl back to Real Housewives, which could use her quick wit this already moribund season.

Can there be an episode where a disgruntled employee flushes her meds down the toilet? Assuming she's actually on meds? I'd love to see her go ape shit.

Problem is absolutely none of the contestants are what she is looking for. Anyone who goes on a reality show does it for fame and followers or some other kind of exposure. They know the chances of making it to the end are slim to none, so they have to get something out of it. She should know that.

Before the show aired Bethenny boasted that she'd never worked with production that was as professional as HBO. This show is lower budget, more poorly produced than the first season of Top Chef (with host Katie Lee Joel) 15 years ago.
