i don't think he's a creep. i think he's an alcoholic. and i think he's pretty gifted and quirky and funny. i'll bet he's a blast to be around and with until he's not. i don't know why they broke up. but i can guess.

i'm an alcoholic too. we burn the loves of our lives out. 8 years is awhile. Somebody dipped out for me after 4 years, however, we have maintained a very close (and sometimes sexual) relationship since then. yep, that's on me that i continued something that should have died but it is what it is. we both hadn't let go.

I wish Jason another healthy relationship. i kind of like him as an actor/writer.

When I first looked at OP's pic I was like "oh, when did Jason get so hot? He looks just like Armin ... oh gawd!".

R5 It might be simpler than that. They have been together 8 years and she's thirty which means 22 when they got together. And he was already close to 40. Age can just be a number, but the chances that she wants the same thing at 30 she did at 22, or what was fun at 22 might not be so at 30. I do think he's talented, and he does read as a nice guy.

R7 Segel turned 41 in January, so their age difference is 11 years, not close to 20.

That said, he seems like the kind of guy who stays stuck in his early 20s forever. She probably outgrew him.

R8, yep I mis-added the difference, but as you state the primary point is the potential outgrowing. He's managed to get to 41 and dodged kids so that might be the sticking point.
