My husband and I met Steve in a hotel elevator in Vancouver several years ago (the Sutton Place...they offer decent, short-term living accommodations that lots of actors use).

I loved him in Treme (which is a vastly underrated series). His character was meant to be annoying (and he was) but he evolved throughout the show, and Zahn handled it deftly.
