I love Sir Anthony this morning After the Oscars because he has, through no fault of his own, enraged a lot of woke trash.

At least be honest and call “woke trash” the N Word, r5.

I'd like to know what happened between him and his daughter. Is this a case of Shirley/Sacha? Which would be ironic as I believe he said Shirley was the most unpleasant actor he ever had the misfortune of working with.

Anthony Hopkins is autistic and open about not caring about his daughter. I'd be pissed too if he was my father.

That's a misrepresentation of what he said, R8. The Post asked Hopkins’ team for comment about Abigail – who, according to the source close to her, is not married and has no children – they said they had reached the actor when he was standing in line for his second COVID shot in Los Angeles.
“It was a painful time in my life and not something I can talk about,” is all he would say.
Glenn Harte, a Hopkins friend who speaks to him at least once or twice a week and shows the actor’s art at his Maui gallery, said Hopkins’ manner can sometimes be misinterpreted.
“It’s a tough situation for both [Hopkins and Abigail] and I feel bad for them,” Harte told The Post. “On one hand, Tony is his own person and never plays the game and doesn’t care what people think of him. Sometimes, though, that gives people the wrong impression. He can be very blunt. He’s also one of the kindest, most generous, most real people I’ve ever met.” "When

Loved him ever since he did the TV movie version of “Dark Victory” he is always a sure thing.
Chadwick Bozeman is a big loss; he should have had so many more years ahead. I can understand why people are upset but the awards SHOULD be for the best performance if they’re being honest.

I guess since he's British and has a title it's easy to forget that before Silence of the Lambs he was slumming it with Suzanne Somers

Didn't he laugh at Gwyneth Paltrow for calling him Antony?

He was in The Lion in Winter and The Elephant Man prior to SOTL. He has always been considered a top tier actor.

R14 would have been having a meltdown if Boseman had won. Republicans are dumb.

R6, the poor moron who posted that probably doesn't understand that most of the people who voted for him are "woke" liberals. Conservatives don't excel at the arts

I've heard Rob Brydon , Sir Ian McKellen and a few others call him "Antony", I've always assumed he used it interchangeably.

Sir Anthony may or may not be cishet, don't know if he's had any gay/bi rumors in his time, but he is disabled so I don't know what the word salad at R14 is trying to say.
Anyway, I enjoy his videos of him playing piano for his cat.
