I can't believe we enjoyed this shit in the '80s.

Loved the whole early Ants sex and fetish thing. Dirk Wears White Sox is still criminally underrated. Marco will always be an underrated guitarist and wingman.Kings of the Wild Frontier was a breath of fresh air at the time. He clearly wanted to get as far away from that early image as possible and annoy people and still be a star. What’s more camp and British than pantomime ?

Great idea on paper. Limp in execution. Somewhere along the way all the ballsiness got lost. They look bored. You’re right OP. It’s shit.

Adam and The Ants music was great! So was early Adam Ant solo stuff!

But, yeah, that's a pretty flaccid concert performance. Plus, the camerawork/directing is ATROCIOUS with 90% closeups on Adam. For a concert film?

Some artists just can pull off live the magic they have in the studio.
