Grammer isn't even a little bit of a homophobe. Baldwin, however, has been a real bastard over the years and has used gay slurs. Of course his wife will just cover for him by spinning some yarn about his background that is completely false.

The Frasier episode where he goes into the gay bar wearing his brother's tiny, white shorts is hilarious.

I don't get it -- wasn't social media all afire last couple of months with Grammer planning to front a "Frasier" revival of sorts on Netflix, or somewhere? Such a big announcement not happening must've been actually a teaser to see what the feedback would sound like. [Crickets...]

I'm actually shocked that NBC is not jumping on a "Frasier" revival given what a great success the show was for the network all those years. Heck, they did the "W&G" revival, so why not "Frasier"?

R20, not to mention that James Burrows directed it; the man directed every single episode of WIll & Grace; there were some gems in the revival like Three Wise Men in which Grace came to realize she'd slept with a grandfather (Barry Bostwick), father, and son.

He's such a strange case. He's not a homophobe and he actually went ahead and produced two shows with black actors/actresses on them and black creators writing them, "The Game" and "Girlfriends."

But he's still a Republican and he still supported Trump in 2019 and that severely poisons is rep for me. Even Patricia Heaton, who is also a Republican, managed to openly despise him. (Also by supporting the Republican party under Trump he also supported all of their ideals including racism and homophobia but no one has had that discussion with him yet, it seems.)

Back when Grammer was being asked his thoughts on the Tea Party years ago, a reporter asked if he was against gay marriage because they are. He said he isn't against it, and marriage should be between two people who love each other, but the funny part was it seemed like he didn't do any reading into what they were about.

I can see why it got hype. I mean, Baldwin was funny on 30 Rock and Frazier was reasonably entertaining.

As far as a premise goes, this isn't actually all that bad sounding. I would have watched the first episode to check it out.

Maybe Grammer and Heaton can give it another go with "Back to You," which lasted half a season on Fox.
