Let's hope Mr. Stringer is NYC's next mayor. He is a moderate Dem on most issues and does have the swampy smell of the DeBlasios on his shoes like some other candidates (Hey Maya).
His experience with city government is second to none and he knows how to handle large budgets and isn't afraid to call out wasteful spending. I hope his bland personality is not a reason to dismiss or discount him. Go Scott Go!

He has zero chance. He simply cannot generate any enthusiasm or excitement. The charisma of a dead fish. Which is too bad, because he actually is very smart and would probably make a wonkishly good mayor. But no.
The race will come down to Wang vs. Adams. Wang is leading, but if there's an onslaught of bad press about him, he could falter. And the press does not like him .

He was proudly endorsed by the NYC teacher's union. How much are they funneling his way ? In New York state, if you disagree with your union's political position, by law you are entitled to have a portion of your dues refunded, but unions don't want to to know that.
