For me: the song "Purple Rain" by Prince. I know Prince loved the color purple, but rain is not purple. (It's also such a weird word to sing: "Purr-pllllle...")

Children of a Lesser God
The movie is about deaf students. Is it implying that deaf children were made by a lesser God and that is why they have flaws? I can't recall an instance where they explained it.

But it is purple if the argon of a neon sign illuminates the rain as it falls outside a club. I think that's what Prince intended.
