This could be good. Hard to know how he will do - don’t think of him as a great actor but it is a perfect camp role that he could be perfect for.

I like JCM and think he should have a much bigger career. HEDWIG was brilliant as a film and as an original stage show.

He may not be terribly ambitious, but I also think it's a failure of imagination of the Hollywood (and Broadway) powers that be.

There is a 24 year old age gap between Kate McKinnon and Carole Baskin. Why do they always cast women much too young to play real life women but the men are always age appropriate?

He';s a very smart guy. he anticipated the trans moment with HEDWIG, which was a big hit.

And people were so excited to see SHORTBUS before it came out... I've rarely heard such buzz about a project in the gay community. It was lousy in its execution, and so word spread fast that it was no good; but it was such an exciting idea to show actual sex repeatedly in a film with a plot and with mostly non-porn actors.

Tiger King is so 2020.

That should be really funny.

McKinnon will also be playing Elizabeth Holmes and she will be very camp.

Baskin should be played by Kyra Sedgewick or Cirginia Madsen or Jennifer Coolidge or Meg Ryan, someone of that generation.

They weren't that excited. It took him forever to get financing for the movie. And then week after week after week he ran ads in the Village Voice looking for sextras. And the gay threesome is about as dumb as it gets. Singing a song into someone's ass? What is that about?

The only good part about that movie is the short scene that the Mayor Koch character does. That actor took some corny lines and made it an effective moment in an otherwise stupid movie.

Is he taking time off from ruining people's acting careers?

JCM is a ‘get’ for this movie. He’s fabulously talented. I have zero doubts that he’ll be amazing in it. And Carole Baskin is a good part for that SNL chick
