He was the ShITT

Looking him up he was also in Spaceballs, was Twikki the Robot on Buck Rogers, Lucifer the Cylon in the old Battlestar Galactica, an Ewok in Star Wars, and was a Talosian in the original Star Trek pilot.

Busy little guy. Watched him a lot and never knew.

I created so many iconic characters, but never became famous for them. Not really fair...

These things always come in threes. Who’s next? I’m afraid it might be Anthony Hopkins and Robert De Niro?

I thought that "Cousin It" was portrayed by the same actor who also portrayed character "Grandmama," and that you'd never see both characters appearing in a same scene. I'm so deflated now to know that I recollected mistakenly and was wrong about this.

You may be thinking of THING. That was the Ted Cassidy (Lurch the butler's) hand.

When you saw Lurch and Thing in the same scene, Thing was played by a producer, I think.. Thing was credited as "Itself". Thing was sometimes left-handed, sometimes right-handed.

Carolyn Jones played Morticia and her crazy older sister, Ophelia. Blossom Rock, who played Grandmama, was sister to Jennette MacDonald. Jackie Coogan was the kid in Charlie Chaplin's The Kid. His parents stole his money and a law was passed to protect child actors' assets.
