I just finished binge watching all the Marvel movies and thought it was interesting that despite Thor and Thor: The Dark World being the worst of the 20+ films, they were so perfectly cast. Chris Hemsworth (and Tom Hiddleston) oozes charm...and addition to being competent at dramatic work, he has great comedic timing.

That said, his body is clearly the work of steroids, and now he's becoming a plastic surgery nightmare.

I question this. He was supposed to leave at the same time as RDJ and Evans. You can see that they had planned for a departure from the storylines. He's the one who opened the door to possibly doing more movies as Thor. They were already set to use Natalie Portman as female Thor.

This third Guardians is the final one with James Gunn and most of the current cast. Hemsworth's addition to the cast was an interesting turn of events.

R27 Hemsworth did not demand anything. Hollywood is shifting a significant amount of its production to Australia and NZ due to the very low COVID case counts there. It means films can be produced without the health restrictions in place on LA based sets right now.

Hollywood was trying to set Hemsworth up as the next big leading man, he let that go to his head and made rumblings about leaving, then all his movies outside of Marvel bombed and he came back to Thor with a new enthusiasm for the part. Portman only came back because of Waititi, she was pissed that her choice of director for Thor 2 was dropped and phoned it in and didn't even film one of the scenes her character was in, so she refused to return for Thor 3 before Waititi had really made a name for himself in Hollywood.

To the guys saying Hemsworth is on roids or other PEDs - I'm not saying he definitely isn't, but I don't think he definitely is either - he is muscular, but not over the top and definitely achievable naturally if you work hard and have your nutrition on point, which he would as he has PTs and nutritionists available to him.

Also, too many guys cry 'steroids' as if that invalidates the work that has to go in even when you're on them - and a lot of guys who are muscular are not on the roids, people like to throw it around dismissively to make themselves feel better because they don't have those bodies, because they haven't put the work in.

R49 HGH is VERY common in Hollywood particularly at the time Chris Hemsworth was starting out. I he did use some kind of PEDs for the first two Thor movies, but looked more natural in the subsequent movies. I believe the story about using PEDs. The costume designer for the first Thor said they took initial measurements for his armor and other costumes, and he got so big so fast that when he came back for final fittings 6 weeks later, he didn't fit into anything.
