Nice, they actually let his character be Latino, despite the fact they could have easily Whitewashed him. They flipped the parentage factor and what we think is the cute boy name of “Jamie” in Spanish is most likely pronounced more like the Jewish “Hymie” with a strong “H” replacing the “J” sound. Although it is James, I bet that makes a it factor when his White classmates hear the true pronunciation. This show just went up about twenty points in my eyes, actually weaving this is and doing it as a slow character reveal, which I think definitely has plot ramifications.
