Anyone ever watch any of the foreign versions of “Real Housewives”?

Melbourne is superb and there's no acceptable reason for Bravo not airing it in place of their movie rerun marathons. Auckland was a one-season train wreck but absolute gold. I haven't seen any others.

R1 that’s my thing... why doesn’t Bravo air those versions?? I’m sure many would watch.

Bravo did air the first three seasons of Melbourne, but not the fourth. Melbourne is hands down the best RH series of them all; funny, colorful, outrageous, bizarre, and bitchy. Almost every cast member would be the standout cast-member if they were on an American RH show, but because they're all on the same show, it's fireworks. Gina, Lydia, Jackie, Janet, Pettifleur, Gamble, Chyka are all top-tier Real Housewives. I'm hoping they start filming Season 5 soon.

Cohen is apparently an executive producer of all the US versions, but isn't listed as a producer of the international ones, so I'm guessing he might have been paid some franchise or royalty, but not making as much from those.

Tyra Banks was an executive producer of all the international Top Model spinoffs and got paid for them.

Andy Cohen claims he's never seen RHoMelbourne, and said Bravo didn't air the 4th season because ratings-wise it wouldn't be worth it.

I think Bravo did air the first two seasons of Cheshire, but none of the dozen or so seasons that have aired in the UK since then. They never bothered with the Canadian shows, and I don't blame them because they sucked.

They could at least add them to Hulu.

I wonder if RHoSydney is good

Sydney was a mess. Some people loved it, some people hated it. Personally, I couldn't stand most of the cast. I remember reading that Bravo passed on the show because it was too dark.

Melbourne is excellent but I actually can't stand Gina. There's a ton of hype about her but she just seems so repulsive and closed-off.

RHO Sydney was appalling. One of the housewives was married to a local fascist politician and she called her toddlers “fuckers” on screen.

Oh yes, she was vile, R18. A supposedly grown woman calling another grown woman a stupid slut over and over and over again. I really couldn't believe it.

The only one I liked on Sydney was the Persian with the fake lips.
