How can I patch a pipe without calling a Plummer?

I have a quarter-sized hole in a pipe under the kitchen sink. I've tried caulk (no); Gorilla Tape (no); duct tape (no). Everything fails and the water pours through once again, into a pot I keep under there.

Start at the very beginning. A very good place to start.

Flex tape is really good but its really sticky. Once you put in on, you can't take it off. So if you mistakenly get a wrinkle in it, your stuck with it. Its not like scotch tape. It should stop your leak.

Email a plummer, call a friend.

If you have metal pipes under the sink and a section rots out it will only be a matter of time until more rots out'

I would try Saran Wrap stretched as tight as you can and then duct tape the ends. That will last for a little while but they will need replaced, which is not a hard thing to do.

I have half a Nazi flag you can use to wrap it.

You can't call him.

OP, drain pipes under the sink are probably one of the easiest things to fix, you don't need a plumber this video shows how. I would replace with plastic but if you want to just replace the pipe with a hole you can do that also, but the remaining ones probably won't last long.

I see that spelling is not your strong suit.

The flag with the black spider on it makes people nervous.

A lot of these repair tapes promise that you can affix them "even underwater!" and they will hold. But they lie; they soften and turn to goo eventually.
