The oldest gen Z today is in their mid 20s, my next door neighbor who's Gen Z is 24 and has no sex. He even tells me that. I've asked him if his friends are like that and they're all either in committed relationships, gay or straight or really struggling to have casual sex. They whine sometimes to me that no one on tinder or whatever app they use wants anything.

They're incredibly tolerant and when I told my neighbor I was gay he said he had many gay friends, including two guys at our building who I was sure were straight. One is a dirt biker and I thought he lived with his wife, but apparently this is a roommate.

The neighbor having most sex here at our place is a bi (leaning toward gay) guy, who brings people to fuck every week, men or women, we can hear him getting fucked by men and fucking women, it's kind of funny. He's 39.

There have already been numerous studies reporting that this current generation isn’t having sex. They only gave their generation a name because previous ones got them. They’re not really based on anything though. The Boomers were named for a baby boom and Millennials were growing up with technology and seeing in the new century. Gen Z doesn’t stand for shit. They shouldn’t even be classified. If anything, they’d be 9/11 babies.

R25 that sounds about right. Most of my peers (young Millennials, now in their late 20s) fuck like rabbits and always have done, since middle-school. Several people I knew got into sexual scandals or complicated situations in our youth. We’re the GOSSIP GIRL generation, if you think about it.

Have to admit to being an outlier in that respect, though. Confidence does have much to do with it; I have almost no social confidence and struggle to make friends (well, real ones who aren’t using or manipulating me), ergo I don’t have sex. I’ve also got a very low drive, but apparently that can be a side-effect of Asperger’s.

I can confirm OP's observation. I have two teenage kids, and neither of them has sex, or even seems to think about it much, nor do most of their classmates, as far as I can tell. Not even porn lying around in my son's room or on his laptop, which he mostly uses for surfing, hacking and school.

Even we Gen Xers were a lot higher-sexed than the Zs seem to be.

They're glued to their social-media accounts 24/7 though... maybe that's a substitute.

I have 3 gen z friends. I am the elder gay sage. They are totally cool that I was the whore of Babylon for a few decades. They however, rarely have casual sex and hookup culture is NOT in their zeitgeist. They say they seek connection and cuddling and caresses. They work up to going "really wild".
