Logic Comes Out Of Retirement And Releases New Song

Logic just can’t stop rapping, man. It was less than a year ago that he had announced his retirement from music in order to focus on a new streaming deal with Twitch. We didn’t hear anything from him for a few months after that, until in January when he tried to be sneaky and released a project under alias Doc D. Last night, Logic ditched the DOC D mask and uploaded a track directly to his YouTube channel titled “Tired In Malibu.”

The track is only a minute long, but he goes in. The tune has a raw, old school, boom-bap feel to it, with Logic flowing effortlessly along to the beat. Perhaps the best (and most important) part of the track, is at the end he says: “retired for a minute but I guess I’m back, man.”

Did Logic come out of retirement just to drop this? Or is he hinting at an actual return sometime soon? Only time will tell.

Stream “Tired In Malibu” below. Enjoy!
