The project will air as two-hour movie but producers are hopeful it’ll serve as a backdoor pilot for a full series relaunch.

So that's it? We've officially run out of original ideas?

A generation of revivals.

Saw Don J on Seth Meyer the other night. He’s in good form and needs to be on TV again.

R3, he is currently on NBC's painfully unfunny sitcom Kenan!

Literally who is asking for this.

Maybe they'll recreate the off-camera scene in San Francisco where Don Johnson bought gay bear daddy porn at a sex shop

Surely the Kenan show will be cancelled soon, if it’s not already. Don looks great for his age, and he has a bit of “heat” after KNIVES OUT was a hit. I never watched the original so I doubt I will watch this. I guess it’s better than a MIAMI VICE reboot. That would be an awful idea, to everyone but Phillip Michael Thomas.

Loved Don Johnson since HBO kept showing The Herrod Experiment when I was a teen. But we don’t need this. Give him a new show. But yes, R7, definitely better than Miami Vice.
