Bitch at work got flustered when I clapped back
She comes huffing over to my desk with an attitude asking why I pulled an “extra” batch of documents to work. I explained that it was a smaller batch, so I figured I might as well work them both.
She says it doesn’t look smaller and that’s when I got fed up and showed her. Then I said if she wanted to take it, she was welcome to it. “Oh, no, that’s fine,” and then she skulked off.
Her friend who sits catty-cornered to me and overheard the exchange says “I think she’s just having a bad day.” I told her she’s going to have an even worse day if she continues to harangue me all day. She shut her mouth after that.

Ha! I got fired from a great paying temp job once because I didn't stress over the calls and closed out more calls/work orders than all the regular employees the week after training. They had a weekly tally.

R4's story reminded me that I had a friend that started working in a postal sorting facility. First day during a break some workers approached him and gave him shit for doing too good a job. They were use to coasting.
