R39, I don't know why CBS cancelled it. Maybe it was a financial decision? The show has been on awhile and has some B and C list stars. High salaries may be a factor. Some people think it doesn't work without Anna Faris but I don't miss really miss her. I love Allison Janney and the rest of the cast. I'll miss it.

The reboot show was terrible.

I haven't seen any of the originals, so am not comparing it. I'm saying that objectively it was just a bad show.

The show rapidly went downhill when George Eads abruptly quit during the third season. They moved away from the procedural format with the dark and convoluted CODEX plotline during the fourth season. And this season, they had a lame triangle with Mac, Desi and Riley. It was poorly written, and Lucas Till had zero chemistry with both Levy Tran and Tristan Mays.
