Suck it, Concern Trolls: Gallup poll shows largest increase in Democratic Party affiliation in a decade

More Americans identify as Democrats than Republicans by a margin that hasn't been seen in a decade, according to a report released by Gallup on Wednesday.

An average of 49% of adults age 18 and older reported Democratic Party affiliation or said they are independent with Democratic leanings throughout the first quarter of 2021, the pollster reported.

Depending where those increases are it still may not help us in coming elections.

Get back to us when it's comfortably above 50%.

In this day and age, you can identify as anything and people just have to accept and go with it.

r3, yawn, nice attempt at trolling

^^ Found the tranny! Are you tired, dear? Perhaps you should scamper off to bed.

^ Found the Republican. Are you tired, dear? Maybe you should scamper back to your double wide in Alabama

R6 A Republican, I am not. But a deranged tranny you’ll always be.

by Anonymousreply 7Last Wednesday at 7:26 PM

Really anyone with 1/2 a brain has no choice. It’s either the Democrats or Trump, Q, and the Proud Boys.

by Anonymousreply 8Last Wednesday at 7:30 PM

R7, I'm not a "tranny" but the fact that you use that term as an insult pretty much proves that you're a stupid Republican. The fact that you got so offended by this thread screams Freeper Troll

by Anonymousreply 9Last Wednesday at 7:32 PM

Means nothing if they don't vote.

Esp after the huge COVID relief bill, Dems are showing they’ve always been for the people. They’ve always had the better policies. Their Achilles Heel was always been trying to work with republicans. The Biden era realized that was futile.

8 straight republican presidents have seen a recession or depression start under their watch.

republicans = terrible for our country in every way.

by Anonymousreply 11Last Thursday at 3:25 AM

Of course. People want free stuff.

by Anonymousreply 12Last Thursday at 3:42 AM

R12 Like tax cuts for the rich? Newsflash- that talking point, which I’ve seen being used again, won’t work this time. 40 years of neglect all to give the rich more, has negated your little talking point. And guess what the bill has come due. Dems are the only party willing to actually help this country. Fuck you republicans. You don’t know who to govern whiny ass bitches.

by Anonymousreply 13Last Thursday at 3:45 AM

Gallup polling has leaned Republican in recent years, so this is a good result for Democrats.

The blue counties have the most people, but fewer counties are blue. By a long stretch. The vast middle and south determine our elections. This isn't good news. It's simply data.

Buckle up. Now that HR-1 seems to dead in the water (thanks Manchin,Synema!)...Democrats will not have a majority in the house or senate after 2022 for a VERY long time. Same for president, with state legislatures in swing states poised to have the power to reject election results.

by Anonymousreply 15Last Thursday at 4:25 AM

Don’t be so sure, R15. GQP thought they had the House locked up but more and more suburbs are trending blue. Don’t expect republicans to have the power they had under former guy. They do markedly more poorly when he is not on the ticket. His supporters actually hate most republicans now. They’ve fucked themselves into a corner of crazy. We have not seen an election post 1/6. We saw one on 1/5 and that was enough to swing TWO GA senate seats blue. The overturning of elections will be struck down by the courts. Senate is more in play for Dems now since 1/6. GQP is turning off voters by the droves. The only person who will get non-voters (who lean republican) out is former guy and he is way more toxic after the election and esp after 1/6. GQP knows it and they’re fucked.

by Anonymousreply 16Last Thursday at 2:20 PM

no one, absolutely NO ONE, gets free stuff like Republicans! Democrats aren’t even in the game!

by Anonymousreply 17Last Thursday at 2:45 PM

God, I hope you're right, r16. Because that's their end game (the "GQP" as you call them, ha) - permanent single party rule. Nothing less.
