Justice Breyer thinks packing SCOTUS would erode trust.

That train has long left the station after Merrick Garland's nomination was obstructed a year before Obama left office and then ramming Amy Coney Barrett through a week before a presidential election.

I only want to hear Breyer making these kind of statements if he's sitting on the front porch of his retirement home.

Not a fan of Mitch McConnell, but refusing a hearing to one Supreme Court nominee is a much shorter-term and less wide-ranging action than inflating the court with new justices after 200+ years of their being nine.

I think it would cause a lot of GOP anger, pushback and vengeance. Might not be worth it.

Ugh, if that miserable creep Clarence Thomas would just die already - we'd be rid of his hack legal opinions & the Widow Ginny would lose her power. Where is COVID when you need it?
