An 82 year old woman with lung issues died? Stop the presses.

Man you antivaxx trolls are something else. A third of Americans have already been vaccinated, people aren't afraid of it. Find something new to troll about.

My friend Jenny died hours after eating a taco.

by Anonymousreply 5Last Wednesday at 3:56 AM

690 Milion doses administered and we're going to have a new thread every time an 82-year-old woman with lung issues dies hours/days/weeks/months after vaccination?

by Anonymousreply 6Last Wednesday at 4:04 AM

The real danger is Mentos. I knew a man who ate three Mentos in quick succession. Within an hour he had a heart attack.

But no one is starting a thread about that!

by Anonymousreply 7Last Wednesday at 4:13 AM

A woman in her 80s died?

Well I never in all my life!

by Anonymousreply 8Last Wednesday at 4:14 AM

My friend died after being fisted in a Day's Inn!!

by Anonymousreply 9Last Wednesday at 4:20 AM

Yeah...people will continue to die of unrelated things, vaccinated or not.

by Anonymousreply 10Last Wednesday at 4:25 AM

R4 she hit by MY bust.

She die.

by Anonymousreply 11Last Wednesday at 4:33 AM

Let's see:

She was 82

Had a lung condition

Lived in an aged care home

And was in Queensland, Australia

by Anonymousreply 12Last Wednesday at 4:42 AM

I heard about a guy who won the lottery shortly after receiving the vaccine. I just got the vaccine should I go out and buy a lottery ticket OP?

by Anonymousreply 13Last Wednesday at 4:48 AM

So we're going to ignore the fact that the vaccine is deadly and nobody knows just how fucked our bodies are becoming from it.

by Anonymousreply 14Last Wednesday at 4:59 AM

I'm getting my second dose of the Pfizer in 2 hours.

[italic] Fank You Very Much, OP.

by Anonymousreply 15Last Wednesday at 5:01 AM

by Anonymousreply 16Last Wednesday at 5:02 AM

People have died choking on a glass of ice water. What’s your point?

by Anonymousreply 27Last Wednesday at 5:33 AM

Again, you trolls are too late here r14.

Everyone knows the vaccine isnt dangerous because at this point a gazillion people have been vaccinated. The people you are trying to troll to are already vaccinated themselves or know lots of people who are.

by Anonymousreply 29Last Wednesday at 6:01 AM

No kidding, R22. The lack of compassion is what you’d see from anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers. Yes, millions of doses of vaccines have been administered. Yes, they’re mostly safe. But most people survive covid without harm too, and the whole point is to protect the most vulnerable minority of the population who can’t. Jesus Christ, have y’all forgotten the entire purpose of the vaccine? Or was it never about compassion and always about owning the Trumptards? Disgusting.

by Anonymousreply 30Last Wednesday at 6:03 AM

Some days you lose.

by Anonymousreply 31Last Wednesday at 6:09 AM

I didn't realize that the expectation was getting the vaccine was supposed to ensure you couldn't die at all for a certain amount of time from anything at all.

You're a moron, OP.

by Anonymousreply 32Last Wednesday at 6:10 AM

I ate fried chicken after my second dose. Did anyone else experience that?

by Anonymousreply 33Last Wednesday at 6:12 AM

A woman who has an underlying illness, a lung illness, and is 82 years old dying from the vaccine is NOT the same as those healthy 20 year olds who died from AstraZeneca and you know it OP.

by Anonymousreply 34Last Wednesday at 6:15 AM

No R30. They're not "mostly" safe. They're safe. Period.

You anti-vaxxer, righwingers really don't seem to understand that medicine and science are actually useful.

Read the article, R44:

"Sadly more than 1000 people pass in aged care every week. It is inevitable, as the head of the TGA has noted, that this will include people who have been recently vaccinated.

"It can be expected that older and more frail people in an aged care setting may pass away due to progression of underlying disease or natural causes, this does not mean the vaccine has contributed to this."

by Anonymousreply 64Last Wednesday at 10:16 AM

by Anonymousreply 65Last Wednesday at 10:20 AM

R44 isn't interested in facts, R64. He only wants to vomit his rightwing rage that the government is actually helping people deal with the disease, as opposed to the republican way, which is to let everyone fend for themselves.

by Anonymousreply 66Last Wednesday at 10:27 AM

People her age die suddenly all the time, unfortunately. Off the top of my head I can think of Rose Marie, Carl Reiner and Jessica Walter who were all seemingly fine just prior to their deaths, and Florence Henderson who was fine until the day before she died (and probably only lived the extra day because she was taken to Cedars-Sinai quickly when she fell ill).

You can't say for certain that this death was due to the vaccination. Assuming cause-and-effect is pointless in this situation.

by Anonymousreply 67Last Wednesday at 10:28 AM

Go ahead and make fun. You know, I knew a girl who DIDN'T get a vaccine. But then she died.

by Anonymousreply 68Last Wednesday at 10:29 AM

Wait. So we have to mask up and lock up because COVID can be fatal to the elderly with pre-existing conditions, but the vaccine is fine to administer to everyone because it's only killing the elderly with pre-existing conditions?

Help me understand the difference.

by Anonymousreply 69Last Wednesday at 10:32 AM

Help you troll, R69? No thanks.

Now shoo, go away. Git!

[quote] So we have to mask up and lock up because COVID can be fatal to the elderly with pre-existing conditions,

COVID can be fatal to anyone. And as of now we don’t know who will or will not die from it. There have been numerous instances of seemingly healthy, young people with no comorbidities dying from it.

In order not to be savages, we attempt to protect everyone from a possible death.

by Anonymousreply 72Last Wednesday at 10:39 AM

R69, who is the vaccine killing?

by Anonymousreply 73Last Wednesday at 10:40 AM

Apparently this elderly woman who probably would’ve lived for at least another couple of days or months had she not been injected with Gates’ poison.

/s

by Anonymousreply 74Last Wednesday at 10:46 AM

R72

Thanks. From what I understood, studies showed Covid was primarily dangerous for the elderly and preexisting, with a few exceptions, and it sounds like the vaccine is the same? I'm mainly curious about the mindset that healthy people should mask for others and not be selfish, but when those others are dying from the vaccine it's fine because at least now I'm inoculated. There should still be some concern if the vaccine is killing the elderly and those preexisting conditions, since they were the priority recipients, right? And if we shouldn't vaccinate them because of that, then they're still vulnerable anyway, and so it sounds like...this is just a no-win situation with COVID but no one is really saying that.

I try to maintain a healthy skepticism about people in power. They haven't been great about looking out for my best interests so far. See: Amazon unions, Hedgefunds and GME, and the Georgia Voting regulations.

by Anonymousreply 75Last Wednesday at 10:54 AM

We don’t know what the long term ramifications of this vaccine will be. It’s not FDA approved and you sign a waiver saying that they can’t be sued if you drop dead from it.

by Anonymousreply 76Last Wednesday at 10:56 AM

The lying sociopaths spewing anti-vaccine propaganda want to have it both ways: they question the official COVID death toll, claiming that many if not most deaths attributed to COVID were actually caused by something else (diabetes, pneumonia, etc.) - and now they turn right around and insist that ALL deaths among vaccine recipients are due to the vaccine.

The liars want the pandemic to continue flourishing - and get worse, because they want to ensure that Biden fails so the GQP can recapture Congress in 2022.

by Anonymousreply 77Last Wednesday at 11:15 AM

VAERS has received 2,794 reports of death (0.00167%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. (US, CDC)

by Anonymousreply 78Last Wednesday at 11:17 AM

[quote]a COVID-19 vaccine

Any specified vaccine?

by Anonymousreply 79Last Wednesday at 11:22 AM

Cases of COVID in the US to date: 34,000,000

COVID deaths: 560,000

Number of US adults who have received at least 1 vaccine dose to date: 100,00,000

Number of deaths subsequent to COVID vaccination: 2800

But OK, yeah, sure, just keep on telling us that the vaccine is “just as deadly” as COVID.

by Anonymousreply 80Last Wednesday at 11:24 AM

It should be noted that the number of deaths after being vaccinated DOES NOT equal deaths FROM the vaccine.

[quote]VAERS accepts reports of any adverse event following vaccination, even if it is not clear the vaccine caused the problem.

[quote]A review of available clinical information including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records revealed no evidence that vaccination contributed to patient deaths.

Because I once again made the mistake of trying to ask questions and have a normal, reasonable, discussion on the internet with adults who are accepting of situational ignorance and appreciate an attempt to remedy that. Back to porn and tiktok and the increasingly sad decay of my mind because that's all we can offer each other now.

by Anonymousreply 87Last Wednesday at 11:54 AM

Perhaps if you weren’t so glib and insistent on the vaccine having killed not only this woman, but others as well, we might take your questions a little more seriously.

[quote]the increasingly sad decay of my mind

It doesn't make me even a bit sad.

by Anonymousreply 89Last Wednesday at 12:26 PM

R87, I truly hope that you are not in a position of making decisions that affect other people, including people reporting to you. You reference "situational ignorance" yet you don't seem to have a grasp on what you're even discussing. Instead of worrying about others having situational ignorance, you should just be worried about your own general ignorance which is on full display. You don't have the logical skills to even assess or properly discuss the situation.

R84 R87 is one of the best trolls DL has ever seen.

Usually they over-do the stupidity or the crazy.

This one sounds like a real person. (Maybe they are? Could anyone be that dumb and still figure out how to open an account on DL?)

by Anonymousreply 105Last Thursday at 9:12 AM

[quote]Because I once again made the mistake of trying to ask questions and have a normal, reasonable, discussion on the internet with adults

Unfortunately, "just asking questions" and "trying to have a reasonable discussion" are code phrases ripped from the Conspiracists Guide.

"Just asking questions" is a standard techniques used to raise baseless accusations and sow doubt in generally accepted explanations. The "questions" generally raised are not questions because they are fundamentally flawed based on wholly wrong information.

It's like saying: "If evolution is real, why haven't we found the missing link? I'm just asking questions. We should be able to have a reasonable discussion about it if evolution is real." - No, we shouldn't because the question is based on a flawed understanding of evolution, genetics, and most other "ology" sciences.

The "mistake" you made is in thinking DL is susceptible to the same low intelligence lack of critical thinking that other sites is.

by Anonymousreply 106Last Thursday at 11:28 AM

I thought “just asking questions” is bad because the people being asked the questions don’t have answers and that frustrates them. The people being asked then have to deflect and question the legitimacy of the questions as a way out, and having to do that is also frustrating for them.

by Anonymousreply 107Last Thursday at 2:20 PM

You thought wrong, R107.

by Anonymousreply 108Last Thursday at 2:37 PM

[quote]I thought “just asking questions” is bad because the people being asked the questions don’t have answers and that frustrates them. The people being asked then have to deflect and question the legitimacy of the questions as a way out, and having to do that is also frustrating for them.

Well, you would be wrong.

It is, in fact, a standard part of disinformation tactics and conspiracy theory nutjobs to use it as a tactic to pretend to be reasonable. Also, the question is never a question, but a statement with a question mark at the end, like the teenage upspeak girl that most conspiracy nuts are.

by Anonymousreply 109Last Thursday at 2:54 PM

And in the case of the troll on this thread, the question includes information that is not true.

There is no evidence that Grandma died from the vaccine, so if one tries to answer the question reasonably one has conceded to a lie. The only way to stick to the truth is to not answer, which the troll cites as deflecting.

Very clever.

by Anonymousreply 110Last Thursday at 2:59 PM

Yes, it would be a lot easier to question the question rather than answer it, wouldn’t it, especially when you don’t know the answer.

by Anonymousreply 111Last Thursday at 3:01 PM

Or if you don't want to answer, you just want to stir the pot.

by Anonymousreply 112Last Thursday at 3:05 PM

But again, you cannot answer "I'm asking why schools had to be shut down to protect grandma but now when grandma dies from the vaccine ..."

Because grandma did not die from the vaccine.

You might as well ask, "Why is the sky greener at noon than at midnight?"

Or "Why are babies born six feet tall but lose height as they get older?"

They are fun questions, but they are not answerable because they are not true.

by Anonymousreply 113Last Thursday at 3:10 PM

Grandma is dead. I don’t see how that could be said to be untrue.

by Anonymousreply 114Last Thursday at 3:18 PM

It’s still possible vaccine caused her death

by Anonymousreply 115Last Thursday at 3:19 PM

And it’s still possible it didn’t.

by Anonymousreply 116Last Thursday at 3:47 PM

[quote]It’s still possible vaccine caused her death

Yes, it is.

And there could be a dozen reasons why the vaccine caused - all of which are unique to grandma and not a cause for concern for the general public.

She could be on a specific medication that has an unknown interaction. She could actually be allergic to something. She very likely had multiple underlying health issues which may or may not have contributed to her death.

What is VERY clear is that with the literal MILLIONS of vaccines given, if it were a problem with the vaccine itself, as opposed to the specific patient, we'd be seeing, MILLIONS of deaths.

by Anonymousreply 117Last Thursday at 3:54 PM

mRNA vaxx may cause your body to create prions.

The best expert I have found is Dr. McCairn:

I think you will find him refreshingly un-politically-correct, sometimes funny, and a fount of information on the virus and the vaccines.

YES, there is evidence that the vaxxes may kill all who got them in a few short years.

This entire bio attack, IMHO, is a fast-spread, slow-kill weapon designed by the Chicoms to open the way for them to dominate the world.

I pray that I am WRONG about this because it would mean the death of most of my family and friends.

Wow ^^. You kill off one asshole—you still have one living. ^^ What’s the point.

I’m not killing off the assholes.

The assholes are killing off themselves.

I agree they could be more efficient about it, but let’s not quibble.

I found a smoking gun in the COVID-19 origin case.

For those who have read parts of the pandemic scenario put out by John Hopkins University called "SPARS 2025-2028", PDF available at John Hopkins site, it foretells a pandemic that seems to mirror the COVID-19 outbreak, including government and media reactions, etc. If you change the timelines and start the scenario at the same time of COVID-19, it is very scary. There are still 2 years to go in this scenario, so you can see what is going to happen in advance, with COVID-19, and the vaccines.

Here is an even stranger thing, The SPARS 2025-2028 Team leader, Monica Schoch-Spana, PH.D, had written a paper that was published in 2015, called "Public Engagement and the Governance of Gain-of-Function Research". Part of the Introduction to this paper states " The White House recently called for a “robust and broad deliberative process” to assess the risks and benefits of select gain-of-function studies, pausing current experiments and further grants until new federal policy on research funding and oversight is developed.".

So, In 2015, the Obama administration put "gain of function" research on hold, and stopped all funding for it, due to it's possible dangers.

Then, Dr. Fauci went around the White House, and had the NIH, under Fauci, give the Wuhan Lab, $7 million to develop the gain of function research on a bat corona virus.

There was no "accidental leak". Fauci had publicly stated that the President (Trump) would face an unexpected sudden pandemic during his term in office. How would he know that?

J&J vaccine is now under scrutiny too for blood clotting events.

Serious cases of blood clots have been identified after people took the J&J vax!
