Am I only person who has given up on CNN?

I don’t for a second think they are “neutral”, but they hated Trump, I hated Trump ...

I’m seeing lately a lot of fear porn IMHO. Variant is their every other word. Fox does the same thing (though BLM is their “world is coming to the end” go to).

They just had a professor of public health (which is NOT and MD) giving doomsday predictions on COVID. My parents have had both shots and they are terrified to go out (even with masks and hand sanitizer). They are convinced the vaccine won’t do shit (and they watch MSNBC/cNN all day).

Sigh ...

by Anonymousreply 136Last Friday at 1:41 PM

I explain that the vaccines are in general, far better than the flu, but they listen to Cooper report on what might happen, versus what is happening. I’d write a letter but everyone would say I’m anti-van which I’m not. Just anti hysteria.

by Anonymousreply 1Last Tuesday at 5:31 PM

They're corporate Democrats., just look at how they shat on Bernie. They were useful in getting rid of Trump, but not let's forget that they helped put him there in the first place.

by Anonymousreply 2Last Tuesday at 5:34 PM

Democratic party propaganda platforms - WaPo, CNN, NYT, Vox, Buzz feed and more

by Anonymousreply 3Last Tuesday at 5:36 PM

All your news sources are shit. Why should I agree with you?

by Anonymousreply 4Last Tuesday at 5:37 PM

R3 gets all his news from GOP propaganda forums like Fox and Newsmax.

Nice try, troll

by Anonymousreply 5Last Tuesday at 5:37 PM

After many years, I’ve lately turned into one of those people who doesn’t pay attention to the news. It’s wonderful. Life is better. I quit Twitter, too.

by Anonymousreply 6Last Tuesday at 5:38 PM

OP, CNN didn't say the vaccine won't do anything....You're confusing them with Fox.

People aren't afraid because of the vaccine....People are afraid because a large chunk of the population WON'T get the vaccine

by Anonymousreply 7Last Tuesday at 5:39 PM

CNN isn't pro-left or pro-right, it's pro-scandal. They want non-stop controversy and drama.

by Anonymousreply 8Last Tuesday at 5:40 PM

No you're not the only one. They're fake news and the ratings suck. All they do now is basically just protect Biden.

by Anonymousreply 9Last Tuesday at 5:40 PM

by Anonymousreply 10Last Tuesday at 5:40 PM

Yes they love hated Trump all through his administration. He was ratings gold.

Turn off cable news. Find news sources that keep you informed but not hooked on fear porn. Before cable news, you read the newspaper or watched the news for an hour and went back to your life. Watching news cycles all day is unhealthy, but keeping you tuned in is how they make their money. Most of it is Kabuki Theatre, with Fox being the State TV version.

by Anonymousreply 11Last Tuesday at 5:50 PM

Are you just noticing this now? What’s the difference between the reporting now and the reporting 6 months ago? I don’t have cable, but you can follow the tending opinions online easily enough. In the beginning it was no worse than the flu, and people who wear masks are all dumbasses, and 6 months ago demanding we shut down everything, and now people who don’t wear masks are the dumbasses, 3 months ago going out to eat without a mask is suddenly reasonable now for some reason, and people are whining the CDC won’t tell everyone to stop wearing masks because “they just can’t take it anymore”. Honestly, I’ve always been a misanthrope. I didn’t think I could despise humanity more than I already did but the last 4 years have crushed any spark of romanticism for humanity altogether.

by Anonymousreply 12Last Tuesday at 5:50 PM

Why do posters like r12 go out of their way to be so cunty?

by Anonymousreply 13Last Tuesday at 5:52 PM

OP is just another sad, rightwing attempt to correlate Fox news with all the actual news outlets. Sad that these rightwingers come to our board and pretend that all news is the same. It's not, CNN might be ratings driven and slightly hysterical, but at least it makes an attempt to broadcast truths. Fox does not.

by Anonymousreply 14Last Tuesday at 5:57 PM

Chris Cuomo - Don Lemon - Anderson Cooper

It's like Curly, Homo and Larry

by Anonymousreply 15Last Tuesday at 6:00 PM

It’s the cable news networks that need to fill 24 news cycles that are the problem. You can stay informed without them, it just takes more effort. And most of what they broadcast is not true journalism, just talking heads spewing angles that will keep people watching.

by Anonymousreply 16Last Tuesday at 6:04 PM

It's emotional porn. Their only goal is to make you either frightened or angry.

Most media outlets gave up on informing years ago, when they realized they can sell more advertisements by getting people agitated. Truth and facts can be boring.

by Anonymousreply 17Last Tuesday at 6:04 PM

[quote]It's like Curly, Homo and Larry

Who’s “Larry”?

by Anonymousreply 18Last Tuesday at 6:05 PM

I do not watch ANY of them. Not even local news. The amount of slant and propaganda across the board is too much for me.

I try to source information through different places and form my own opinions.

by Anonymousreply 19Last Tuesday at 6:06 PM

Yay, OP! I’m so happy liberals are waking up to how awful the legacy media are. It was like obscured like you said by having a common interest in hating trump, but now I see a lot of people waking up to how the media don’t really report “news,” they just create fear porn.

by Anonymousreply 20Last Tuesday at 6:08 PM

The PBS Newshour is good.

by Anonymousreply 21Last Tuesday at 6:11 PM

Fuck you OP, go back to FOX, the Nazi "News" Network.

by Anonymousreply 22Last Tuesday at 6:13 PM

About time.

by Anonymousreply 23Last Tuesday at 6:16 PM

American headlines seem really childish.

by Anonymousreply 24Last Tuesday at 6:20 PM

[quote] They just had a professor of public health (which is NOT and MD)

You sound like my mother. “He’s an epidemiologist. But he’s not a real doctor.”

by Anonymousreply 25Last Tuesday at 6:20 PM

It’s just nice to get off their nightly catastrophe and riding Trump’s tiny dick via Twitter. Honestly investing in the CNN vs Fox rivalry is just stupid. It’s like arguing which serial killer is better.

by Anonymousreply 26Last Tuesday at 6:23 PM

r20 believes all the fear-mongering he hears on Fox News.

by Anonymousreply 27Last Tuesday at 6:24 PM

The "both sides" troll at r26 is trying to convince us that CNN is the same as Fox. LOL. Nice try, troll.

by Anonymousreply 28Last Tuesday at 6:24 PM

Do the women at CNN get raped to get their jobs like the whores on FOX?

by Anonymousreply 29Last Tuesday at 6:26 PM

Do ALL the on air "talent" at FOX have to sign NDAs to get their hush money payments after they leave?

by Anonymousreply 30Last Tuesday at 6:32 PM

As someone who leans conservative my beliefs align more often with the far left then they do the so called moderates. At least we share the common goal of hating the 1 percenters who use outrage Porn to divide people.

by Anonymousreply 31Last Tuesday at 6:41 PM

[quote]As someone who leans conservative my beliefs align more often with the far left then they do the so called moderates.

I can see that. It’s why there’s no one for me to vote for anymore.

by Anonymousreply 32Last Tuesday at 6:50 PM

R31, that’s an interesting statement. What else do you agree on?

by Anonymousreply 33Last Tuesday at 6:53 PM

I wondered about that R21. Maybe I can encourage them to watch PBS.

by Anonymousreply 34Last Tuesday at 6:54 PM

R26, I agree.

If there’s anything these trolls hate more than a right-winger, it’s a moderate. Funny how that works.

by Anonymousreply 35Last Tuesday at 6:54 PM

by Anonymousreply 36Last Tuesday at 7:15 PM

Not even Chris Cuomo showing his ass could improve the anemic ratings.

by Anonymousreply 37Last Tuesday at 7:23 PM

Another thing I noticed is that MSNBC is not really Far left. They are corporate shills like CNN but even more shameless.

by Anonymousreply 38Last Tuesday at 7:29 PM

Not sure about Lemon or Cooper, but Cuomo's ratings have really tanked. I wonder if it's association with brother Andrew or just news fatigue?

by Anonymousreply 39Last Tuesday at 7:33 PM

Cable news is in the business of convincing people they need to constantly be tuned into cable news. It's all about feeding the 24 hour news cycle.

by Anonymousreply 40Last Tuesday at 7:35 PM

OP, I just cut the cord on cable recently, so I’m not watching CNN. But I do know that now there’s a P1 variant and it’s taking Brazil by storm. It’s mostly younger people that are getting it. The President there is anti mask or anti anything to stop Covid, so their hospitals are full. That variant is slowly traveling around the world.

The only way to stave off all these variants is for enough people to get vaccinated for herd immunity, but every QAnon and Republican website is telling people vaccines are terrible and if they get one they’ll be controlled by demons and go to hell. And masks are what’s killing people, not Covid. According to them, everyone wearing a mask is being exposed to something horrible (bad breath?) and maybe die. They’re also telling people that every single person that gets vaccinated will die soon. I’ve heard everything from a few months to five years from now. And the vaccine passport is “the mark of the beast.” So the problem is, if Republicans decide not to get vaccinated, Covid will be around forever and we’ll all have to keep wearing masks and practically boiling ourselves in oil when we get home. And a lot of these Republicans will end up with long hauler syndrome and we’re going to have to support them, forever. A couple of the recent variants appear to be worse than the one we’ve had in the U. S. for the last year.

So no, CNN isn’t lying or making it up. About 31% of Americans have at least the first vaccination, I read today. But what percentage of Americans are brainwashed Republicans that will never get it? We may be hitting the wall pretty soon. I know I’ve been reading that a lot of relatives of Republican Qanon people are sneaking and getting the vaccine as soon as they can, behind their relative’s back. But that won’t cover everyone.

by Anonymousreply 41Last Tuesday at 7:38 PM

I think Shepard Smith on CNBC is the only real news program.

by Anonymousreply 42Last Tuesday at 7:40 PM

Have you folks forgotten e.g. the leadup to the Iraqi War? For decades CNN has been selling fear 24/7. Ever since Ted Turner left.

by Anonymousreply 43Last Tuesday at 7:43 PM

NOTHING compares to the racist, sexist homophobic, Nazi loving, plague spreading, treasonous lie spewing fucks at FOX. NOTHING.

by Anonymousreply 44Last Tuesday at 7:49 PM

Defucktard is cheerleading in this thread after it probably started it with one of its sock puppet accounts. Otherwise, the OP is another ”I swear I'm a Democrat!" Qunt who followed it from Parler or a similar Qunt hive. I can't wait until this Defucktard Qunt and its ilk are permabanned.

by Anonymousreply 45Last Tuesday at 8:40 PM

OP is a racist transphobic cisf@gg0t who watches Fox News.

by Anonymousreply 46Last Tuesday at 8:46 PM

Even as a liberal, CNN is an annoying, liberal version of FOX. Unwatchable.

by Anonymousreply 47Last Tuesday at 8:52 PM

What does that make MSNBC, full-on Stalinist?

by Anonymousreply 48Last Tuesday at 8:53 PM

"Even as a liberal..."

Sure, Qunt Karen.

by Anonymousreply 49Last Tuesday at 8:54 PM

The prime time hosts all have this contemptuous lecturing tone now.

by Anonymousreply 50Last Tuesday at 8:54 PM

Then switch back to your beloved Newsmax, R50.

by Anonymousreply 51Last Tuesday at 9:00 PM

r51-Mrs. Don Lemon

You don't have to be a conservative to dislike CNN.

Cuomo and his fake covid emerging from the basement should have got him fired. Didn't anyone see Broadcast News? What would Holly Hunter have thought of that?

by Anonymousreply 52Last Tuesday at 9:03 PM

[quote] You don't have to be a conservative to dislike CNN.

No, but it helps. All these attacks on progressive media outlets are led by deplorables. Even the ones calling themselves progressives who just attack their fellow progressives are just stealth deplorables in progressive drag. Jimmy Dore is a rethug.

by Anonymousreply 53Last Tuesday at 9:04 PM

r53 pointless to argue with you. Everything is black and white to you it seems. No shades of grey. Blocked.

There can be no gray without black and white.

[quote]I’m seeing lately a lot of fear porn IMHO.

It’s been this way for over a year now, and I gave up on them during the election when they refused to call certain states as won for Biden even though he obviously had won them because they wanted to stretch out the suspense for as long as possible. What was really sad was when even FOX called those states for Biden before CNN did.

I gave up on cable news in general.

by Anonymousreply 56Last Tuesday at 9:08 PM

He "won" the moment he stole the nomination from Bernie.

by Anonymousreply 57Last Tuesday at 9:09 PM

I gave up on CNN ages ago. Don Lemon & Chris Cuomo are huge drama queens. I stopped watching MSNBC when the Mueller investigation turned out to be a dud. I’d listened to Rachel Maddie telling us for months & months that any day now, indictments were going to drop on the major characters in the Trump White House (insinuating it was Jared & Don Jr) and that Mueller was getting incredible information from lesser characters that was going to nail Trump. I never watched Fox.

by Anonymousreply 58Last Tuesday at 9:14 PM

Obviously it’s Rachel Maddow. Didn’t see that spellcheck changed it.

by Anonymousreply 59Last Tuesday at 9:15 PM

I gave it up 20 years ago when a post-9/11 town hall turned into an anti-Israel hate fest.

by Anonymousreply 60Last Tuesday at 9:15 PM

The problem with all these cable news shows is that it’s not about news anymore; it’s about theatrics and all of the hosts trying to be entertainers instead of simply reporting the fucking news.

by Anonymousreply 61Last Tuesday at 9:17 PM

[quote]You don't have to be a conservative to dislike CNN.

Fuck off, Qunt. You're not fooling anyone.

by Anonymousreply 63Last Tuesday at 9:25 PM

CNN's ratings have exploded in direct proportion to Ex- President Toadstool Penis's treason.

CNN is the biggest network where the reporters are actually still trying to be objective journalists. The most trustworthy network.

Sorry about it, Boris. CNN is way better than Fox and that's why Fox's ratings are taking a nosedive.

by Anonymousreply 65Last Tuesday at 9:33 PM

R58 Trump had the Mueller investigation quashed. Although Mueller did get 34 people indicted, convicted or got guilty pleas from including high level Trump advisers and Russian spies directly tied to the Kremlin. They never got Trumps bank records (until THIS year). And Bill Barr, that shit of shit, stopped the rest. The investigation was stopped because Republicans let Republicans get away with crimes, including treason. They never hold themselves accountable. That's just one reason why they're shit.

by Anonymousreply 66Last Tuesday at 10:00 PM

Fox's ratings are higher than the other two.

by Anonymousreply 68Last Tuesday at 10:24 PM

More than two decades ago, when CNN became around the clock coverage of one story, until that story was displaced by minute by minute 24/7 coverage of the next school shooting,

CNN used to be a place to turn for international news, cultural news (arts, music, architecture, archaeology, travel...not influencers.) Then it became Wolf Blitzer trying to imbue long stretches in which no new news became available with a sense of gravitas and earth-shatteriing importance -- and then three hours of roundtable discussion where the experts would weigh in on what it all means.

It's completely backwards. News, news, news, lots of news of different types from different places, and a very occasional short analysis by experts where they actually have insight to lend, not as brawls "between the two sides" but as straightforward explanation.

The BBC held out for s while but it's rather shit, too, having adapted too much if the CNN "only one story, covered to fucking death" model.

by Anonymousreply 69Last Tuesday at 11:31 PM

We lost the Vietnam War just fine without their help.

by Anonymousreply 70Last Tuesday at 11:34 PM

Some of the most bizarre incidents in CNN history include one summer which they devoted to shark attacks. And then years later the missing plane which Don Lemon speculated may have been swallowed by a black hole. The nonstop coverage of it was so bizarre. Those are the ones I remember but I was never a regular viewer. Now I avoid it like the plague if I can.

by Anonymousreply 71Last Wednesday at 6:51 AM

[quote]I’m seeing lately a lot of fear porn IMHO

by Anonymousreply 72Last Wednesday at 6:54 AM

Cable news is messy news. I tend to stick with non-US sources (like BBC or DW, not RT) for bigger stories and websites for local stations back home for other things.

by Anonymousreply 73Last Wednesday at 7:06 AM

I like CNN and watch it often, but I find they do like to sensationalize things sometimes.

From my memory they first did this with the death of Princess Diana. Not surprising though since they're a 24 hour news network, however, I do find the CBC's and CTV's (Canadian here), 24 hour channels to be more news orientated than CNN.

by Anonymousreply 74Last Wednesday at 7:06 AM

I just seriously want the actual news. No opinions or slant. No deceptive editing. No grandstanding. Just the plain old news.

by Anonymousreply 75Last Wednesday at 8:00 AM

Cronkite's dead, R75.

by Anonymousreply 76Last Wednesday at 8:01 AM

I gave up on all of them in the middle of trump's reign because they are no longer news channels but opinion channels.

by Anonymousreply 77Last Wednesday at 8:03 AM

[quote]I just seriously want the actual news.

You're not going to find it on cable news channels. They have ratings, ad revenue etc to cater to.

by Anonymousreply 78Last Wednesday at 8:08 AM

I never watched their news (no cable) but read their webpage daily for years. I gave up on them in 2016 when they were constantly posting articles during the primaries that said Bernie was "catching up" to Hillary. He wasn't, he may have gained delegates but he wasn't catching up to her, in fact he was almost always falling a little more behind.

Then one day I noticed a front page article about something that looked bad for Hillary's campaign, I can't remember what it was, but I was surprised because it had happened before. Turned out it was the old article from weeks earlier, posted on their front page again, because they were so desperate to post bad news for Hillary.

That was it. Never again.

by Anonymousreply 79Last Wednesday at 9:05 AM

I don't have cable, but I'm just about done with that website. They mix in thinly-veiled promos for their shows with actual news by posting quotes from either hosts or their guests. Example: "____ reveals" or "____breaks silence on" or, from today, "___sounds the alarm..."

by Anonymousreply 80Last Wednesday at 9:10 AM

Yes, forget about the news. What really grates is the constant unending over-the-top promotion of their news readers.

[quote] Fox News Beats MSNBC And CNN In Ratings After January Slump

Well DUH.

There was a certain little news story in January that Fox refused to cover. On order to find out if our nation was about to fall to a bunch of cosplaying thugs, one had to watch CNN or MSNBC.

by Anonymousreply 83Last Wednesday at 10:32 AM

“So since CNN is no good how about switching to newsmax?”

by Anonymousreply 84Last Wednesday at 10:44 AM

R83 In order to find out if our nation was about to fall to a bunch of cosplaying thugs, one had to watch CNN or MSNBC.

Yeah, I was TERRIFIED that our nation was going to fall to the 'QAnon Shaman'.

by Anonymousreply 85Last Wednesday at 10:44 AM

Good for you R85, because he had the backing of Mike Flynn & his brother Charles along with the Capitol police board, who deliberately underprepared their own department for what they knew was going to be an armed mob & who denied National Guard protection; of high ranking Republican congressional representatives who directed people just like the Q shaman through the halls & tunnels of the Capitol; and of Capitol police officers on the scene who opened barricades to the terrorists, gave white supremacist signals to the mob & posed for selfies with them.

And ...there’s more to come about who directed & cooperated with that attack on our country’s Capitol in an effort to overthrow the govt of the United States because a lunatic told them to do it.

by Anonymousreply 86Last Wednesday at 12:18 PM

R86 should disprove the notion that only right wingers are conspiracy theorists.

All these "News Channels" on cable, ratings would drop to the bottom if they just reported the news with no opinion. I would watch it because I am a news junkie but most people wouldn't because they just wouldn't find it interesting. Many people watch Fox, MSNBC and CNN every evening that simply wouldn't happen if they just reported the news with no opinion. People tune in for the opinion. No one channel is much better than the other they just report it from a different point of view, now OAN the few times I have actually watched it just flat lies.

It's all confusing because for decades being anti capitalist was considered radical. Our era is unique is because of the rise of the new oligarchy, which has made everyone radical except for CNN whose aim is to protect the interests of corporations no matter the cost to the American people. The far left is not the one who came up with woke ideology, it was the so called moderates who came up with it so they could advance a narrative that they were the good guys without having to do anything substantial. Meanwhile, both ends of the political spectrum who did not belong to this club became disenfranchised.

The woke ideology is just a convenient way for these corporations to shut down any dissent or any attempt at meaningful change by scapegoating their critics as anti American or racist. Meanwhile, unfettered capitalism has led to record inequality, soaring homelessness, and a more divided electorate. This is all part of their plan. Their hubris will be their downfall.

Go to Reuters News, or Vice News or Al Jazeera America. They're to news what the Christian Science Monitor used to be to newspapers. They try to be objective.

by Anonymousreply 108Last Thursday at 10:31 AM

In the 1960s, Nobel-prize winning physicist Murray Gell-Mann noticed that whenever a story that involved even the simplest science was presented in newspapers or TV, it was either so dumbed down as to be useless, or else completely wrong, e.g. "Wet Streets Cause Rain" wrong.

Then he said, think about all the stories where you don't have the expertise to evaluate them. Do you suppose any of those are more accurate? Why would you suppose journalists are any more accurate when reporting on politics, society, business, etc, when these topics are at least as complex as basic science?

When they screamed "Hang Mike Pence!" they meant that he should be hung up as a wonderful VP!

by Anonymousreply 116Last Thursday at 11:30 AM

Let’s roll the tapes....

by Anonymousreply 117Last Thursday at 11:31 AM

Yes, a bunch of mostly old fat fucks were going to somehow bring the country down, Oh please.

by Anonymousreply 118Last Thursday at 11:35 AM

R103, if you have cancer and you are hit by a truck, it was the truck that killed you. You might have lived for quite a while with your cancer. If you have those underlying conditions - which are certainly not invariably fatal in the short or medium term - and you get covid, that’s the cause of death. Finessing the figures doesn’t make the catastrophe any better.

The U.S. Capitol Police has suspended six officers with pay for their actions on Jan. 6, when a pro-Trump mob attacked the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop the certification of President Biden's Electoral College victory, according to a department statement.

An additional 29 officers remain under investigation as part of the department's ongoing probe into the events that unfolded that day.

Joseph Fischer, a patrolman at North Cornwall Township Police

Andrew Williams, Sanford Fire Department (FL)

Robert Sanford, a 55-year-old retired firefighter from Chester Pennsylvania

Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, a US army reservist

Thomas Caldwell veteran Naval Intelligence

Donovan Crawl, marine corps veteran

On January 27, arrests showed at least 27, or nearly 20%, of the more than 140 people facing charges over their alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol were veterans or active members of the military.

Sen. Doug Mastriano (R) of Pennsylvania was in attendance

Rep. Justin Hill (R) of Missouri skipped his own swearing-in ceremony to attend the event.

Derek Evans 35, WV house of delegates(R)

Couy Griffin, R, County Commisioner , NM

Doug Mastriano, GOP House Senator

Mike Azinger, WV state senator

I’m getting exhausted from all these members of the military, police, fire departments & Republican politicians who took part in the attempted overthrow of the government of the United States. I need a rest. Anyone else like to take over?

Fear porn, thats a good way to put it!! I am stopped talking to two friends who all the talked about were the CNN/MSNBC Headlines "Dramatically!" Like they were acting out the headlines on MSNBC/CNN. Stopped watching them a while ago, never really watched Fox! I would see CNN while on the screens at the gym. CNN ran footage of the insurection over and over and over again- it was on for almost a month- if I went early in the morning or after work. No longer news its propaganda.

by Anonymousreply 123Last Thursday at 11:49 AM

Am I the only person who throws a hissy fit when news networks report the faults of scumbag Republicans like Donald Trump?

The public has no business knowing what Republicans are up to.

by Anonymousreply 124Last Thursday at 11:50 AM

I stopped watching them after 2016. That election proved to me that CNN is crap. They aired Trump rallies constantly and helped spread the BS “scandals” conjured up against Hillary Clinton.

by Anonymousreply 125Last Thursday at 11:57 AM

The reaction to January 6 versus the blm riots is quite telling. They exercise unconstitutional authority on those who question Washington authority, but will look the other way or even encourage violent protests that puts innocent Americans in danger.

by Anonymousreply 126Last Thursday at 11:58 AM

R122 So how were they going to take over the government of the United States? Please give us a scenario. It's the morning of January 7th....and these guys are in charge. How exactly would that work?

by Anonymousreply 127Last Thursday at 11:59 AM

I’m Canadian and watch it quite a bit. I had it on last night when I was on my iPad and heard Jake Tapper (?) reading someone’s quote. He said the word “bullshit” which was part of it. I thought, “Really? They’re not even bleeping out swearing or part of the word?” I was surprised.

by Anonymousreply 128Last Thursday at 12:05 PM

I know, all that pesky truth gets tedious.

by Anonymousreply 129Last Thursday at 12:11 PM

CNN is now only for the hyper-partisan, the kind of people who were very agitated on this thread.

by Anonymousreply 130Last Thursday at 2:13 PM

R122 Andrew Williams 55 years old, Robert Sanford, a 55-year-old, Thomas Caldwell by his looks probably in his 60s, Donovan Crawl probably pushing 60.

Old fat fucks ready to rule! What joke.

by Anonymousreply 131Last Thursday at 2:23 PM

R21 Yes, the PBS News Hour with Judy Woodruff appears to be straight forward news.

by Anonymousreply 132Last Thursday at 2:24 PM

I only watch them anymore when I am in the mood for only 100% pure infotainment. They and their "anchors" have lost all credibility with me. I predict that Chris Cuomo will decide not to stay on there before the year's out, and that Anderson might move on from there next year. CNN has trained me to cover my ears and run in the other direction whenever they come at us through the TV screen with anything having to do with the words "experts" or "trends." They must be produced by manic-depressives, one morose emotion-fest of a take on the one same story day in and day out.

by Anonymousreply 133Last Thursday at 4:59 PM

Am I the only TROLL to post about GIVING UP ON CNN so that I can pathetically try to INFLUENCE LIBERALS TO THEIR FACES ON DATALOUNGE?

by Anonymousreply 134Last Thursday at 10:01 PM

Am I the only one watching Shepherd Smith?

His show is all news.

by Anonymousreply 135Last Friday at 9:47 AM

R75, I know! It sucks what passes for news and journalism now.
