Anyone seen this show? What do you think? I liked the gay storyline.
Polo Morin is not aging well. Lambda is so much hotter and interesting.

It got boring to me after the first episode or so. I think the Spanish show "The Innocents" was much more interesting and held my attention until the very end.

The second season was a crock of shit with barely any nudity— only from the plastic surgery victim that plays the adult gay brother

What country is this show from?

R6, Spain.

Polo is Mexican. He was cast in a Spanish series? That seems a little farfetched.

My bad--it is Mexico, not Spain.

R10, thanks. I had a difficult time placing it in the one episode I saw, because it felt like some of the Spanish dramas I'd seen, but the accents weren't matching up.

Just binge-watched the show's two seasons which have been released so far. The show is pretty hot as it has great male eye candy. The story is a soap trash mystery, and it reminds me of Mike Kelley's Revenge where new plot twists expand the basic mystery to over the top dimensions. I liked most of it except the surrogate subplot.

The show is set in Mexico with a Mexican cast.
The first season was mildly interesting, if only because the lead, Manolo Cardona, is handsome and the show starts with some small promise. By the end and despite all the complications and drama, I was bored with it and happy for it to end. Season 2 was not necessary and it shows. It looks as if they rushed to put it all together in a week of filming, milking a dead cow when they should have given the production team money to go back and develop something a little stronger and better next time: new plot, new cast, new everything. The Sara story was done.
Eugene Siller who played the adult gay member of the crime family was hard to look at, that ball skin face and Barry Manilow look. It's enough to put you off food.

Spanish and Latin American tv shows do sex and eye candy far better than American, British, Canadian, etc. tv shows do. It's not even close.

Do they show cock as much as Euro shows?

The gay storyline went down the drain in season 2. Holy shit that was dreadful. The gay guy ended up sleeping with a woman. His ex-boyfriend was killed and he himself ended up in prison. Not only homophobic, but also offensive. All the straight characters ended up happy though. Of course!

Eugenio used to be so hot. What happened? From his instagram he clearly has body issues.
I remember him from The Ellen Show where he infamously side-eyed Ellen.

In series from Spain male casual frontal nudity is common. If in a series a man gets out of bed in the morning, you will see his dick, not lingeringly, but long enough to take it in, certainly more than the millisecond of single frame that you might very rarely see in an American film or series. He will not wrap himself in a bedsheet, do a tricky vdieo equivalent of a towel dance, or be wearing underwear.

R19, yes, that's a huge difference between Latin/Spanish tv shows and movies and American ones. They are way less prudish about male nudity. I was only familiar with the Antonio Banderas from Zorro onwards and I never found him sexy. I watched Almodovar's Matador a few weeks ago and holy shit, that man was so fucking sexy! You see everything but his dick in that movie--you even see his pubes. And this is a movie from 1986.

I've seen a couple of Spanish / Mexican soaps (La casa de las flores, Club de Cuervos, Toy Boys, Elite, El Vecino, Alguien tiene que morir, El Club) and I can't recall any full frontal nudity. Lots of naked asses and hiding the guy's junk, but no dick shots.

Here's Eugenio trying to teach Ellen some Spanish.
His body is insanely hot on the show, but I assume his diet made his facial features look quite harsh.

He looks botoxed to fuck.

The first season was a big surprise hit for Netflix and the show runner, apparently. I don't think there's been word if there will be a third season, but the show ended with a bit of an open end by hinting there's more to Sara's death than we know by the end of season two.

It would be stupid to milk it anymore by producing a third season.
Eugenio Siller's face is deformed. If it wasn't for his body and ASS, he won't have been watchable.
Many drool over Manolo Cardona. I find him meh.
On the other hand, I like Alejandro Nones and find him hot despite his, understandably, grumpy face in every scene.
Luis Roberto Guzman used to be much more handsome. He needs to put on some weight IMO. The wig doesn't do him any better.
Strangely enough I find Juan Carlos Remolina hot in a creepy daddy way.

I just came across some screencaps on AusCAPS. Lots of great male ass it looks like, but not sure if that's enough to get me to watch the thing.
