British pop singer Michelle Heaton revealed her whole family has contracted coronavirus – a month after she had her first Pfizer jab.
Star?

I am so over British people saying "jab."
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 2, 2021 1:21 AM |
Me too, Sylvia.
I’m also over these stupid anti-vaxxer propaganda pieces.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 2, 2021 1:23 AM |
That’s why you have to get two. And 90% effective does not mean 100% effective.
The British press is such a joke
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 2, 2021 1:24 AM |
One Pfizer shot gives you only 50% effective immunity.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 2, 2021 1:26 AM |
Yeah antivaccine loons think these stories are a big deal....uh, everyone knows it is possible you can catch covid after a vaccine. No one ever claimed the vaccine gave you 100% protection.
Next.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 2, 2021 1:29 AM |
Plus, full efficacy doesn't kick in until two weeks after the second shot.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 2, 2021 1:32 AM |
That first puncture didn't keep them from getting the virus, but it should keep them from getting so sick they have to be hospitalized.

The ongoing Phase 3 clinical trial of Pfizer/BioNTech's coronavirus vaccine confirms its protection remains high for at least six months after the second dose, the companies said.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 3, 2021 1:10 PM |
There's no covid in the covid vaccine.
Whoever these people are, they picked it up by being careless.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 3, 2021 1:20 PM |
Fucking headlines.
The important part of the story is this: The star, who has an underlying health condition, reassured her Instagram followers that her situation could have been worse if she hadn’t had her vaccine.
Which is the point of being vaccinated. Make the illness mild if you get it. Fucking media.

That little boy has an enormous forehead. Covid related or alien influence?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 3, 2021 1:24 PM |
Here's another example, from the Daily Maul: Rita Wilson reveals why she and husband Tom Hanks have not gotten the COVID-19 vaccine yet
And you know why? Because she's not age eligible yet. But it reads like resistance.
So irresponsible.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 3, 2021 1:26 PM |
I got jabbed- but I died anyway.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 3, 2021 1:45 PM |
How the fuck does Rita Wilson not qualify for the shot? There's no way that broad isn't 70.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 3, 2021 9:51 PM |
R12 he has foreheadiosis fibrosis.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 3, 2021 10:20 PM |
"a month after she had her first Pfizer jab" - you're supposed to have the second jab 3 weeks after the first dose. The UK decision to extend the gap between doses to 3 months is ridiculous.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 11, 2021 4:55 PM |
She should have gotten a shot. “Jabs” don’t work.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 11, 2021 5:01 PM |
1 Pfizer jab gives you 80% immunity, not 50%.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 11, 2021 5:03 PM |
R18, when you're vaccinated with a syringe, you're being jabbed, not shot.

I know. It sounds so stupid. But Brits are stupid, so...

[quote]"a month after she had her first Pfizer jab" - you're supposed to have the second jab 3 weeks after the first dose.
Pfizer suggests 3 weeks but says you have up to 6 weeks to get the second dose without losing any effectiveness. Not everyone can get their second appointment exactly on the suggested day.
More than anything, it sounds like the problem was they weren’t following proper protocols (masks, social distancing, etc) after they got vaccinated. Dummies don’t realize you still need to do those things even after getting vaccinated.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 11, 2021 5:12 PM |
If only she got vaccinated, what does it have to do with her family? They didn’t get vaccinated so of course they could still easily get COVID.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 11, 2021 5:16 PM |
Vaccines will only halt transmission once 75% or so of people are vaccinated. Doesn't mean you still won't get covid but it'll help.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 11, 2021 5:18 PM |
She should not have even been tested. There’s no reason for vaccinated people to be tested if they’re asymptomatic.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 11, 2021 5:24 PM |
She has two school age children, her chances of contracting are high. The schools an colleges are big petri dishes.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 11, 2021 5:33 PM |
[quote] The UK decision to extend the gap between doses to 3 months is ridiculous.
It’s because the pro-BREXIT government is obsessed with looking better than the hated EU, so they’re doing this to cook the numbers of “people vaccinated.”
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 11, 2021 5:40 PM |
When are people going to get it through their heads that the vaccines don’t prevent you from getting covid? They just prevent covid from hurting you.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 11, 2021 5:45 PM |
[quote]When are people going to get it through their heads that the vaccines don’t prevent you from getting covid? They just prevent covid from hurting you.
Well, do you really “have COVID” if you don’t have any symptoms and wouldn’t even know you have it without a test? If you’re asymptomatic, your viral load is so small that it’s not even worth considering.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 11, 2021 6:07 PM |
R28, that is not correct. It’s been proven they prevent infection and spread. Why do people keep lying about this?
[quote] More than anything, it sounds like the problem was they weren’t following proper protocols (masks, social distancing, etc) after they got vaccinated. Dummies don’t realize you still need to do those things even after getting vaccinate
The problem is she didn’t get the second shot.

[quote]The problem is she didn’t get the second shot.
If she had still been social distancing and wearing her mask, it’s unlikely she would have got it. And I’m sure she was planning on getting the second shot when she could but they’re spreading second doses out in the U.K.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 11, 2021 6:25 PM |
Yeah, sorry, I meant to say she shouldn’t have stopped masking and distancing until a couple weeks after the second shot.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 11, 2021 6:26 PM |
[quote]She should not have even been tested. There’s no reason for vaccinated people to be tested if they’re asymptomatic.
Did you read the article? She said she and her family have been a part of a clinical trial since last year where she gets tested every week.

[quote]And I’m sure she was planning on getting the second shot when she could but they’re spreading second doses out in the U.K.
Because the UK is stupid. Pfizer says to get the second shot 21 days after the first.

And if she hadn’t been tested, she wouldn’t even know she “had COVID”. This story is a nothingburger.
