As a gay woman, the most positive thing for me is not hearing that I need a man to take care of me. You have no idea how much this idea is drilled into straight women's heads. I've seen so many women who end up with men doing just that...until the guy cheats or dies and then the woman is helpless. I promised myself when I was very young and I saw my mother, who had never worked a day in her adult life, lose EVERYTHING to my fucking dick of a father when they divorced. We even lost the house we lived in because my father decided to let it be foreclosed on.

Of course, my mother went out and found another dick to take care of her but she also ended up having to get a job for the first time in her 40's...with zero skills.

I also enjoy not having to worry about having to squeeze out crotch fruit. I don't like most kids until they hit maybe 11 but even then, I can only take so much. I never understood why anyone would want them and I was so happy I have never had to take a pregnancy test.

In general, I'd say that we work well with women, and women enjoy working with us. Even though we know that DLers can be misogynistic, it pales in comparison to the vitriol that can come out of both straight men and women. I have to work with two very high-maintenance, aggressive women, and although I'd be very happy if they left the company, I tolerate them pretty well, while some others seem to abhor the thought of working with them. We love our strong bitchy female characters!

I hate working for women though. Have always gotten along better with male bosses. Women can be bitchy and micromanaging.
