I’ll always root for him.

Interesting show concept IF all three timelines actually work together and intersect, rather than simply running parallel.

I like him, but I always wonder why he's given so many chances with show after show.

People generally like him.

He's handsome but not threatening to straight men.

He has a long list of credits and any show of his that failed wasn't his fault.

These network shows generally suck; watered down and trite writing. Wolk gets work because he has a very favorable Q score...a metric still heavily used in Network program casting. He comes across as warm and trustworthy, kissable but not sexually threatening. The networks in particular like talent that becomes familiar to TV audiences...think Kevin Alejandro and Rachel Bilson...and will use them again and again until they age out. There are all different kinds of actors...Wolk clearly just wants to keep at it and make that money while he can. He's also a middle class, practical Jewish boy, which I am sure informs his decisions.

Most actors in Hollywood would be so fortunate to be a steadily working actor. Not everyone can be a star.

They really missed an opportunity to make him bisexual and have him primarily involved with a man in one of the storylines. It’s not like he doesn’t come off as gay to begin with.

Wolk has a weird hairline and looks funny in a lot of photos. It might also account for the difficulty in him finding a breakout role.

I also think there is something about his looks which appeals more to gay men than women, but I could not explain it.

The pilot was pleasant enough and he’s very watchable but it’s such a timid interpretation of the premise. You can do anything with these timelines, yet you make one a cop show and one a hospital show? That’s network TV for you.

Mark Feuerstein had multiple chances on multiple shows over the course of a few years, some lasting a year or two, until he finally had a hit with Royal Pains on the USA network.

I love his smile. It seems so warm and genuine. His eyes actually light up when he's happy. That's rare in both straight and gay men these days. Hollywood probably doesn't know what to do with him because of that. He's not trying too hard to be edgy or broody.

There's nothing wrong with being a character actor. Very attractive people can be character actors. At least character actors end up working well into old age unlike a lot of big stars who might shine bright for 5 or 10 years and fall off the map.

This looks like it will be terrible, but on the other hand I'm grateful this beautiful man will get a chance to shine. It will likely be canceled, but I hope it then leads to him getting more and better parts.

I've enjoyed Wolk in other things -- Mad Men, Watchmen, Happy Endings, that Hallmark movie he did years ago where he played a teacher with Tourette's -- but I couldn't make it past the first commercial break of the pilot. Not his fault it's a crap network show. Take the money and run, Jimmy! (And take Charlie Barnett with you -- how'd he get cast in this sentimental swill?)

Shockingly, Ordinary Joe beat both The Good Doctor and NCIS Hawaii in 18-49 ratings last night.

Thats because NCIS Hawaii SUCKS. My mother is a devoted fan of all of their many incarnations and even she says the plots a re stupid. Could you imagine waking up to that face every morning at R100 ?

I stopped 1/3 of the way through the latest episode, I think I’m done. It doesn’t hold my interest long enough to figure out which of the three he is in every scene anymore.
