Those builders don’t sound sexy, they sound like the worst kind of chavs so what does it matter how they look. They sound atrocious, and the whole “I have a gay brother and sister...” so tired.

You really have to watch out if there is any construction near your home. My neighbor was having a new roof put on her house (we are in rowhouses) and I thought to myself, I wonder if those guys are trashing my roof, so I went up and looked and yes, they were, just dumping their shit on my roof. My neighbor spoke to them about it and they cleaned it up.

The builder on the left has potential. The other three look hideous.

Well it couldn't have been foreign accents as all your eastern Euro builders have been sent home I assume, since Brexit. Personally I have never had any difficulty understanding the lower orders in my own city; I have difficulty understanding some Texans whatever their class.

Many years ago I was in London taking some courses with the University Of London ( I'm American). I met some tv producers from Amsterdam. They told me they had NO difficulty understanding the actors on American television shows but found it hard to understand many British actor on UK shows.

R26: more US TV shows were broadcast in Holland than UK ones (if any). For years many Germans spoke English, and so many of them spoke English, with an American accent.

Did anyone else cringe when the duo claimed "we were frightened" and "we were bullied in school". Mary!

I know virtually all Americans are anglophiles, charmed by all things British, but those accents are grating, yuck!

Americans are only charmed by posh English people, those are working class accents. If Americans were less ignorant, they would be aware of that.
