Dallas BBQ

I just ordered me some Sticky Chicken wings, and they’re so good!

I haven’t eaten here since 2019. They’re so good!

Anyone else like them?

Happy COVID OP.

by Anonymousreply 1March 27, 2021 8:28 PM

Yikes!

by Anonymousreply 2March 27, 2021 8:30 PM

I just looked at their menu, and now I'm sad for you, OP. I would have expected a BBQ restaurant to serve actual BBQ. That menu looks like an Applebee's that just slathers BBQ sauce on stuff. And they thought sticking "Dallas" in their name would give them "authenticity". Then I saw that they have an outlet in Times Square and it all made sense.

I condole you.

Not only are you a fat whore, but your a cheap fat whore.

by Anonymousreply 4March 27, 2021 8:52 PM

A whore who is fat and cheap.

by Anonymousreply 5March 27, 2021 8:59 PM

Cheap? I just spent $18 for 5 wings.

by Anonymousreply 6March 27, 2021 9:56 PM

Their food is nothing like Applebee’s.

Maybe try it before commenting over and over

by Anonymousreply 7March 27, 2021 9:57 PM

What a ripoff

by Anonymousreply 8March 27, 2021 9:58 PM

What's the obsession with Americans about taking red meat and making it carcinogenic and burning it to a crisp?

Surely, America has better cuisine than that?

by Anonymousreply 9March 27, 2021 10:01 PM

[quote]Their food is nothing like Applebee’s.

It's nothing like BBQ either.

by Anonymousreply 10March 27, 2021 10:22 PM

What sort of obese slob has chicken wings delivered to them in the afternoon?

by Anonymousreply 11March 27, 2021 10:56 PM

R11, as opposed to when? 7 a.m.?

by Anonymousreply 12March 27, 2021 11:17 PM

R12 Ideally, never. But, at best, dinner time?

by Anonymousreply 13March 27, 2021 11:19 PM

I figured this was some NY-NJ abomination, because Dallas is nowhere famous for barbeque, and even if it were, it wouldn't call it BBQ. Fake pretentious NY garbage.

by Anonymousreply 14March 27, 2021 11:23 PM

And sure enough, there no is barbeque on the menu. Why not just go to Chilis?

by Anonymousreply 15March 27, 2021 11:25 PM

R14 Unless they're using authentic Texan gasoline to BBQ?

by Anonymousreply 16March 27, 2021 11:27 PM

Good god, R16! What kind of BBQ are you eating?

by Anonymousreply 17March 27, 2021 11:32 PM

A quick lighting one.

I've been eating there for decades and I love it!

It's tasty and reasonably priced and everybody goes there once in awhile. People from Texas should keep a lower profile about their failed Republican shithole of a state!

by Anonymousreply 19March 28, 2021 12:02 AM

SLOP

I get food poisoning there in January 2004.

by Anonymousreply 20March 28, 2021 12:07 AM

I GOT food poisoning there in January 2004.

by Anonymousreply 21March 28, 2021 12:09 AM

TX is actually doing well right now.

by Anonymousreply 22March 28, 2021 12:18 AM

They've got electricity?

by Anonymousreply 23March 28, 2021 12:34 AM

Yes. When I lived on St. Marks back in the late 80s, we ate there a lot. We’d split the onion ring loaf and a chicken dinner with the sides. It was delicious.

Then I got old and moved uptown and my in laws lived around the corner from the one on 73rd and Third and it seemed to be THE destination for a certain demographic for their birthday celebrations and date nights.

Now my kid and their friends hang out in the East Village and get their wings and take them to eat in Tompkins Square Park and it’s come full circle.

by Anonymousreply 24March 28, 2021 12:45 AM

This is real BBQ.

R25 That looks delicious.

Where is that from?

by Anonymousreply 26March 28, 2021 6:31 PM

R26 Heim BBQ in Fort Worth. They're famous for their bacon burnt ends, which may be one of the most delectable things I've ever eaten.

R27 Now that does look delicious.

I enjoyed reading how to make one yourself. Looks good.
