Why do people hate Scorpios?

I’m just guessing, but based on their hypersexual ways I assume they are largely responsible for much cheating and ending of relationship?

Despite being hyper sexual with the right person, I've found Scorpios to usually be loyal to a fault until you piss them off and then all of that will go out the window. They'll stay in a relationship for a long time even if their sexual needs are not being met as long as other needs are. Sex with a Scorpio will be some of the best you've ever had, but they're used to going through sex droughts and it's not a deal breaker if you're a kind, truthful person.

There's a certain intensity and search for truth that turns people off about them. You always feel as if they're cutting through your lies and bullshit and, if you have a lot to hide, that's going to rub you the wrong way.

r12, both my parents (who are divorced) are Scorpios and we get along swimmingly.

A Scorpio is a good person to have in your corner. Their loyalty is one of their greatest assets and you'll notice they tend to keep friends for decades. They're not usually the social butterflies of the group. They'd rather have meaningful conversations with a select group of likeminded, thoughtful people. You won't see them making random small talk if they can help it.

That being said, O have an insatiable appetite for sex but when involved with someone or in a relationship, I am loyal to that person, to a fault. I also have friends that have been friends for decades and I value our history and having them a part of my life.

On the other hand, I can be a viper if I am crossed and I have a difficult time in forgiving. Truth is very important to me. Longtime friends tell me one of my best qualities is my never hesitating to speak the truth. If you lie to me, however, I'll cut you out of my life in a second and rarely reconsider that decision.

I've never had a problem with them.

Then again I'm not huge "believer" in astrology and usually don't find it very useful given there's 12 signs for billions of people and a lot of variation. Surprise!, I know Scorpios that are anything but hypersexual.

Scorpios would probably be in the corner observing everyone and, if a conversation sounds interesting, they'd find a way to make it over there and participate. They're not the types to usually start up a conversation.

At a party I would be standing with a Bacardi and Coke watching and observing. If approached, I would engage in a discussion and if the host insisted I sit down at the piano and play, I would probably still be playing when the party ended. I don't do small talk very well and would avoid entering into a group discussion. However, if seated at a piano and a group was gathered around the piano singing or chatting, I would be comfortable enough to talk about music or to take song requests.

If someone were to openly flirt while I was playing, I would probably respond, musically with something mildly suggestive and by altering a lyric such as Cole Porter's "I've Got Yours Under my Skin"

So much said, as a Scorpio, I see a lot that is true. Scorpios are extremely patient and forgiving, however, at some point, if they're pushed against a wall, watch out. Scorpions have a stinger... they will inflict only once, hard and fast. Afterwards they'll be able to move on without lingering resentment or acrimony.

Huh, well, I've been described that way, and would self-describe that way too, but I'm an Aquarius Sun/Capricorn 12th House Stellium.

Though I do have a prominent Lilith, Sun quintiling and Mercury sextiling Pluto in Scorpio tightly, and a multiple-squared 8th House Moon...

Some of the warmest, dumbest, most forgiving and slutty people I've met had Virgo Suns. Usually combined with fire/water Moon, Venus & Mars signs, though.

I’m a Cancer and all my best friends have been Scorpios with the majority of birthdays falling between 11/5 and 11/13.

My husband is a Scorpio whose birthday is 11/18.

R12/R13 ime Pisces is a much better, more wholesome and healthy and sustainable partner for a Scorpio. When they do get together it's all some beautiful accepting cosmic soulmate vibe shit.

The problem is that Scorpio is turned on by drama, and Cancerians are the embodiment of sexual and romantic DRAMA honey, so Scorps get their heads turned by that nonsense, and away from the sweet pretty sad little Pisces waiting in the wings.
