I don't want to fuck either Alfred E. Neuman or Madonna.
But any port in a storm.

You wanna impress me? Bring out the Cape Flats passion gap!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 24, 2021 11:58 AM |
On that young man, yes.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 24, 2021 12:01 PM |
I think it makes people look incredibly stupid.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 24, 2021 12:17 PM |
I assume that most people with this gap keep it by choice. It can be fixed well enough through bonding for only a few hundred bucks
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 24, 2021 12:20 PM |
A definite turn-on
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 24, 2021 1:31 PM |
It works on some people and less on others, like everything, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 24, 2021 1:43 PM |
It makes him look like a 12 year old.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 24, 2021 1:44 PM |
depends on what the rest of the guy looks like
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 24, 2021 1:45 PM |
i had an ex with this and it made him hotter
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 24, 2021 1:46 PM |
He has a beautiful white trash face and the elegant neck of a ballet dancer.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 24, 2021 1:50 PM |
Please, it’s called a diastema.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 24, 2021 1:56 PM |
Total turn-off.
But an even worse turn-off is something else I see more frequently than I ever would have imagined. I don't know what it's called, so I just call it "peg-teeth"... the teeth are all the same size (ish) and have spaces on both sides. Like little pegs instead of actual teeth. It kinda freaks me out, but I've seen it quite a bit. There was this hot guy I saw in some eastern european gay porn that looked so hot... then he smiled with his peg-teeth and it was just creepy. Almost like baby teeth. Bleh.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 24, 2021 2:33 PM |
In some ways, I think, the decision to not have it fixed reflects a certain self-confidence.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 24, 2021 2:35 PM |
“Give me your best Madonna face circa 1986 you vapid ho!”
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 24, 2021 2:36 PM |
It alone wouldn't make an attractive guy unattractive but it is very distracting, it draws your eyes to that gap. I have seen guys who have had it fixed and they look much better without the gap.

The fugly shut-in DL eldergays who haven't been heartily fucked in years, if ever, would NEVER go near this monstrous young man in the OP's pic. And if he dare have FORESKIN, well, grand mal seizure!!

Better than the 382743th Meghan Markle or Armie Hammer thread

Some of the most unfortunate mouths I have seen are those with a too-large upper jaw. I can't explain it, but it creates a weird look and the mouth doesn't close naturally all the way. I assume to fix it would involve some kind of surgery

One of my exes had a gap in his front teeth and it made him sexy as fuck. He used to spit through it wich never failed to make me die laughing. I swear he could hit a bottle cap at 10 yards ,that gap gave him deadly accurate aim ! I hadnt thought of him in years, thanks for reminding me Op !

Primarily thicc bottom boy Will Braun has it and it makes him extra sexy.

Too-perfect teeth can be off-putting
by Anonymous | reply 31 | March 25, 2021 11:00 AM |
r16 I think you're right about the distracting aspect of it. I think if it's smaller (a la Madonna), it can complement an overall aesthetic. If it's larger, then it does draw one's attention away from other parts of the face.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 26, 2021 10:22 AM |
When I was growing up in the more ignorant 50s & 60s many people took any sort of physical difference in people's bodies as a sign of poor family genetics. The tooth gap was considered by some a low class birth defect, along with having a hair lip (cleft palate). or squinty eyes.
Personally I don't find it particularly attractive, but it certainly wouldn't turn me off someone.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 26, 2021 10:58 AM |
If the guy is handsome I find it adds character and makes him sexier as he obviously is confident enough not to get it fixed. If it’s just an average Joe then it tends not to be attractive.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 26, 2021 12:06 PM |
Turn on!
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 26, 2021 10:05 PM |
If it's too wide it looks like the person is missing a tooth, and that is off putting. Bobbi Christina Brown had one of those wide gaps and it really detracted from her looks IMO. With their money I can't fathom why they never had her teeth fixed.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 27, 2021 1:12 AM |
Mmmmmm not that bad. After awhile you'd forget about the teeth. Perfect looking teeth (those over done white veneer jobs) look a bit too unnatural.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | March 27, 2021 2:04 AM |
R16 - Zac Efron has also had a nosejob and chin implant.
Most tooth gaps look good on people who are already beautiful. Fill it in and you can appreciate the beauty - otherwise it's way too distracting. It's all you can focus on.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | March 27, 2021 2:11 AM |
Interestingly, most of the people I've known with a diastema between the front teeth have been Italian/Italian American
by Anonymous | reply 39 | March 27, 2021 11:53 AM |
r36 in a lot of photos, she's smiling with her mouth closed. I wonder if she was self-conscious about the gap

Terry-Thomas!
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 27, 2021 1:24 PM |
I find it unappealing. It gives people a childlike look, as though they've recently lost their baby teeth and their adult ones are just coming in.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 27, 2021 1:27 PM |

Actually I find it every time I look in the mirror.

Did Mike Tyson have a diastema or a missing front tooth??
by Anonymous | reply 49 | March 28, 2021 6:19 PM |
I've never actually understood why they're supposed to be so atrocious.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | March 28, 2021 6:26 PM |
It's a matter of degree I think r50
by Anonymous | reply 51 | March 28, 2021 6:46 PM |
Also, this thread reminds me of the "things that are acceptable if you're attractive" thread(s). I think a diastema falls into that category
by Anonymous | reply 52 | March 28, 2021 11:25 PM |
r53 isn't so bad that it's distracting. It adds to his overall aesthetic

This is no doubt a case of confirmation bias, but I feel like diastemas are more common among people with African ancestry. Also, I've known several Italian Americans with this condition. (And don't forget Ms. Ciccone.) I think it runs in families.
On the other hand, I don't think I've ever known a person of East Asian descent with a considerable diastema between the front teeth (and I lived in East Asia for a bit). But again, this is very likely confirmation bias, and I wasn't looking for it either.
