I love Kids in the Hall. Out of all the great sketches Girl Drink Drink still puts me in stitches. I also love the Buddy Cole sketches.
One of my favorite sketches, OP.

I love that one. This was one of my favorite KITH sketches

Scott Thompson's "Clothes Make the Man" sketch still lives rent free in my head.
I just remember knowing he was gay as a kid and completely understanding this bit.

SCTV Godfather parody. It kills me every time.
Lengthy, but the payoffs are great. Start at 1:38.

Mad Tv has so many gems. It was a lot funnier than SNL IMO.

R3 that is fucking hilarious. Kids in the Hall is still just as funny today as when it came out. Can't say the same for SNL, although I do like Sprokets.

The "I'm Wayne Brady, Bitch" skit on the Dave Chappelle showed the dark underside of Wayne Brady.
Here's the entire skit - sorry for the quality, but the whole skit is hard to find.

R16 Thank you! Stephanie Weir as Dot was always surprising; you never knew what she'd say. I wish I could find the clip where she interacted as a psychic with the audience. She was brilliant!

Chappelle's Show classic, "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories" featuring Charlie recounting the (actually) true story of the times he fought then hung out with Rick James.

That was funny r24, though for the life of me I can’t recognize the guest host who played the middle character with the long blonde wig. Also, it didn’t escape me that the other two players are no longer with us, having both died tragically.
There was a similar SNL game show spoof - Der Berlinen Squaresor something like that, where made-up East German celebrities played Hollywood Squares, but kept defecting. It happened right at around the time the wall came down. I have never been able to find it anywhere online.

As soon as I saw this thread "I'm Not Gonna Spread For No Roses" popped into my head and you all didn't disappoint. I hadn't seen that probably since college (the mid-90s) and it's still just as funny. Thanks to the poster who added it. I saw here that KITH is coming back and I just don't see how it will pass the purity test we currently live in but I'll give it a go if it happens and if it's sanitized, I'll go back and watch old episodes. What a great show.

Jan, Phil, and Dana. Sadly, Jim Baker is probably more vile now than he was then.

This is still one of my favorites, although it might only be funny if you watched All My Children at the time. The actors for the most part play it straight and sincere. Too often now, it seems like the actors are doing a wink at the audience.
That skit at R68 did not pull any punches or try to soften the parents for a more feel good ending of the skit. Now I feel like watching some Kids in the Hall and News Radio episodes. I also agree the Vicki Lewis/Beth was funnier than the other sitcom red head at the time Kathy Griffin.

Apparently, someone misunderstood the OP, and thought they were supposed to POST THE ENTIRE FUCKING INTERNET IN THIS SINGLE THREAD.
Anyway, this is an absolutely HILARIOUS sketch from The Carol Burnett Show, and it's often overlooked. "Can You Open This" is one of my all-time favorites from the series.

R69. Andy Daly was my student in college. Talented, a bit odd, funny, kinda sweet. He performed a piece about a serial killer bashing in someone’s head with a hammer (from John Banville’s novel “The Book If Evidence”). I wonder if ever considers doing non-comic work—he had the talent for it.

R62 I loved Dot. Michael McDonald was her perfect foil. They were a great pair. No idea how he could keep a straight face and stay in character as Dot's dad.
