John Kerry and his sketchy past, there's a juicy story there
The Tasteful Friends thread on the Beacon Hill townhouse made me think of John Kerry whom I've never liked or trusted. His story is fascinating but also dubious. It's no doubt so salacious that I'm surprised there's never been a juicy tell-all book or miniseries about the guy.
The one time I could not bring myself to vote was when Kerry ran for president. I was living in Boston at the time and just stayed home that day, knowing he'd easily win the state. I appreciate his politics but that's where it ends for me. Kerry has always, reportedly been the butt of jokes on Capitol Hill due in part to the faux posh intellectualism. He's essentially the Dem's version of Ted Cruz. Allegedly, the Clintons and the Obamas could not take him as a person. Kerry has always seemed like a posh-pretending grifter, using his early looks and no doubt massive cock to marry wealthy widows. He began stalking Theresa Heinz immediately after her billionaire husband and U.S. Senator John Heinz died. Poor Theresa is reportedly all but vegetative these days and I'm guessing the kids will again, eventually, go after John. They began getting mouthy about him years ago and then, reportedly, Theresa paid them off to quiet down because John has always wanted mama to buy him the Presidency. But Portuguese Theresa was never quite welcomed into the inner circles of Washinghton elite establishment after John Heinz died. (Fun fact: it was reported long ago that she had a blood hate for Hillary Clinton due to Clinton's ascendancy in politics, as Theresa was pulling out all the stops and AmEx black cards to make John a thing. It never worked and Hillary leap-frogged over John once his presidential bid flunked.) With John now firmly in control of the fortune, he's undoubtedly preparing for post-Theresa life, stashing as much cash as possible. The Heinz kids are going to dismantle him as soon as their mom dies. I fear for President Biden having that grifter snake of a man near his administration.

So what? None of that affected his actions as a public servant or elected official. Every family has conflict behind closed doors.

I don't normally reply in this manner, OP, but as many others are prone to say on here: "Get a life." The laundry list of things you went into detail about re: Kerry are peanuts compared to most politicians. He seems relatively harmless. It was probably a mutually beneficial relationship between him and Teresa. He would've been a stupendous president compared to Trump.

There are stories abound of Kerry being a total ass in private, to staff and people encountered during the campaign.
I was for Bradley in 2004 then switched to Dean. Always thought Kerry as fake at playing the patrician do-gooder.

Shame her kids weren't happy about their mom getting a good, hard dicking from a big, hard cock. I guess they didn't want to share that inheritance with him though. Funny, no one (including OP) is hearing Theresa complaining. 🍆

I am pretty familiar with Kerry as my family has known his for years. On the good side: He is a bright, decent man with good politics. On the bad: yes, he's ridiculously ambitious. But then, he's a politician. So does that make him different than others?
By the way, he is bisexual and has had a number of affairs with men. And I do think he is, indeed, bi, not gay or straight.
My favorite quote of his, when he lost to Bush: "I can't believe I'm going to lose to someone with half my IQ."

I can’t speak to his cock size, but I do know secondhand that he takes incredible dumps. One of my best friends flew a chartered plane for him during the campaign. On that flight his visit to the lavatory resulted in a turd so large the toilet couldn’t flush it. He never said anything or called attention to it, but after landing he walked off the plane and it was her job to break the turd up and clear the bowl.

There's nothing to be uncovered. Kerry is Kerry. Middle class brilliant guy who went to Vietnam and brought a typewriter to write up his war hero stories. Married super rich to help his political career then did it again with T. Heinz. Managed to come thisclose to the Presidency. Nearly won the electoral college (Ohio flip would have done it) without winning the popular vote, which was close.
I think he comes across terribly on TV. Imperious, dull, and long winded. I knew he would probably lose when I watched debates with him and because it was pre-DVR, channel flipping was how you'd avoid commercials. So I watched TV with remote in hand then and would subconsciously flip the channel after 15 or 20 seconds of him talking. Had nothing to do with his politics. I hadn't even been conscious of how much I disliked listening to him but would just flip that channel without thinking. He would take 2 minutes to answer a yes or no question.

LOL R2! I'd totally forgotten about that. And NO! I'm no MAGA swift-boater. I said I appreciate Kerry's politics and I do.
But, he has had an interesting life. He was pretty and used those looks to famewhore himself when he got back from Vietnam. There are very public stories about when he staged throwing his Medal of Honor over the White House fence in protest, that it was a fake medal. I've not read enough to decide if that's true or not. And yes, Kerry is incredibly ambitious. That's cool. But he's also always been smug. He lives like a monarch, is chauffeured around Boston in not one but two black SUV's, (you know, like the President?). That was before he was Secretary of State and a presidential candidate. Not sure he still does that. He came from immense wealth himself, so maybe he was just trained to be obnoxious and pompous.

[quote]I think he comes across terribly on TV.
He comes across terribly in person too; I remember going to a rally in NC. He was several hours late & when he got there, he & Teresa just....droned..on...and...on...ZZZZZ. John Edwards, sensing that the crowd was antsy & they couldn't hear what Kerry was saying, tried to rally the crowd & get John to speak up - but to no avail. I wasn't surprised he lost. It's kind of too bad Edwards was such an empty suit because he was a very good campaigner.
The stories about him being terrible to staff have been around for awhile; my guess is that Joe knows the score & makes him useful where possible. I can totally see Hilary hating his guts!

If you find Beto hot then you probably find a young John Kerry hot. I think they’re both meh, not ugly but certainly not hot, they have that long face, hound dog look that looks dorky instead of handsome.
Dems in 2004 should’ve gone with Howard Dean. A fiscal conservative who supported universal healthcare. Interestingly enough, Dean’s background is as patrician WASP as GW Bush’s, though not as wealthy as the Bushes. Dean owned up to his background, I don’t remember him ever apologizing for it. Even Dean’s mother at that time said they couldn’t keep up with the Bushes despite being in the same social class and running in same circles.
