Disney just proved again with its Pixar film Soul that they can create new, authentically Black characters, and don’t need to darken existing white characters to meet their quota. There’s no excuse for not adding a new major Black character to Pinocchio instead of just changing the Blue Fairy.

How does she keep getting cast in everything? She's hard to look at and mediocre actress and singer. Every movie she's been in has flopped. It doesn't make any sense.
