This is the sixth Datalounge thread where some person will OBSESS over Nicholas Clay's swimming attire.

Nicholas Clay's ass is a thing of beauty but true fans come to watch our divinity Miss Sylvia Miles as Myra Gardener.

DL fave Russell Tovey was in the "Poirot" TV remake.

I find this a rather disjointed, unsatisfactory movie with the usual collection of accomplished English performers and uninteresting American second-raters.
It's also disconcertingly disjointed in that the exteriors, garden, beach and headland cliffs are obviously filmed in ten different locations in Spain but they all look like Yugoslavia.

R3, Nicholas was English. His arse —or buttocks— were a thing of beauty.

First off I highly doubt this is only the sixth thread in the history of Datalounge to obsess over the beauty of Nicholas Clay’s ass. Secondly, you act as if doing so would be a bad thing. Why not join in with the obsessing!

Don't mistake the Ustinov version from the Suchet version! The Suchet version has a very blah actor in the Nicholas Clay role.

OK. I'll play Poirot to your Sylvia.

The same buttocks, from 2012.

The same buttocks, from 2012.
We need fresh buttocks in lieu of these overused, dead ones

Maggie Smith, Diana Rigg, Nicholas Clay's ass ... a gay boomer's paradise.

Didn’t Nicholas Clay have a sad alcoholic death?

^ Too much adoration; too little sense of self-worth.

R11 Well, we're all entitled to our opinions even when they're tragically wrong.
The exteriors for Evil Under The Sun were filmed on the rather small Spanish island of Majorca. I don't really understand your complaint that it's "disconcertingly disjointed" and suggesting it looks like Yugoslavia. The film is actually SET in the Adriatic off the coast of what was supposed to be Yugoslavia, so I guess the locations are successful.
Your snark about "uninteresting American second-raters" in the cast also makes little sense. The only full American in the cast is Sylvia Miles who is hysterically funny in a very camp role. You use the plural so I'm not sure who else you mean unless you're ragging on Roddy McDowall who was an American citizen but born in Britain, who was also quite good.
It's all subjective of course but....you have dubious taste and you're a poor writer of film criticism since you fail to get your facts right.

And nobody, absolutely nobody ever mentions Roddy McDowall in his gayest role on these threads.

R10 - his ears look so much smaller there.
I guess they extended outward as he got older.

Is it on one of the streaming channels this month?

I would loved to have been a guest there, watching the drama develop whilst admiring Patrick Redfern sunbathing..

I woke up this morning wanting to see this film. I'm a true DLer.

It’s all about ass, R26. Nobody is interested in a bitchy financially strapped writer.

I also love Thirteen at Dinner with Faye in a dual role!!

R33, it's streaming on Britbox.

r22 You must be confusing Clay with Cage. Nicholas Clay died of cancer after a brave fight, his friends say.
